LolitaLand Lolita Lempicka 2018

It was almost exactly 3 years ago that La Nuit Trésor à la Folie was my signature fragrance for a long time. I loved it endlessly... until it was reformulated :-( no berries, no tonka, no more nutmeg and ambroxan, and I was really very sad about this negative change. I still have the old version as a bunker bottle, but somehow I'm so disappointed about the negative development that I haven't been able to wear it for months. Hopefully love will return at some point!

i haven't had LolitaLand in my collection for quite as long as La Nuit Trésor à la Folie, but I've always liked it. It has so many notes that I really like, especially vanilla of course ;-)
For me, the fragrance is more than just sweet peach and vanilla buttercream cake, even though it definitely smells like it. On my skin, it's totally juicy, full-bodied, sweet, but not squeaky or synthetic. It's a little bit buzzy, which I really like in moderation, and the peach is ripe and juicy. The vanilla is rich and dark, the musk makes it fluffy, the Bellini tingles right to the end, and the pepper gives everything an exciting twist. The jasmine doesn't stay in the background, but it doesn't push itself to the front either, which I very much welcome. It simply creates a dense but not pompous overall impression.
On me, the fragrance lasts until the next shower and radiates amazingly well and for a long time.
It puts me in a good mood, stays with me when I'm annoyed, emphasizes my good mood and makes me smile when I smell it. Even at temperatures of up to around 25 degrees, it doesn't get too oppressive.

I have a whole range of fragrances that are much more exciting, thrilling and interesting. LolitaLand, on the other hand, remains quite linear. But there is something about the fragrance that makes me reach for it very often and I have never regretted spraying it on. The bottle is not really my cup of tea, but somehow it also makes the fragrance fly a little under the radar.
I have both versions, the one with the gold sprayer and the one with the silver sprayer, which is currently available. In my opinion, there is no difference between them, but my "old" bottles have darkened enormously, and the new one is also getting darker, which I really like ;-)

If you can't identify with LolitaLand (the name is also kind of meh ^^), please contact me, I'll gladly adopt her, because I always feel somehow... happier...
