Beautiful Clean Scent

I have had this fragrance in my collection for a few months now. The scent progression is very linear; I personally do not perceive any change after the drydown. The fragrance lasts all day, even on clothing until the next wash.

Personally, I do not detect anything sweet in it, no vanilla, no caramel. To me, it smells very woody and rather dry.

I'm a bit confused...

The reviews here made me hesitate, but then I tried it, the opportunity was there. Unlike the other reviews written here, I must say that I was immediately thrilled. The chypre notes, combined with wood (sandalwood?) and fleeting flowers and vanilla convinced me. And even after hours, I still enjoy the scent and find it harmonious and pleasant. Of course, it's not for hot days, but in cool weather, it's a feel-good fragrance.
How different tastes can be!

Clean scent for the home

So for me personally, nothing here smells like a stable. This thing bursts out, the scent progression is completely linear, what I smell in the opening I can still smell exactly the same hours later. Sillage & longevity are impressive; for me, this serves as a room fragrance, on my skin it’s too loud, maybe manageable at minus 15 degrees in a storm, but otherwise, the constant blast it radiates would give me a headache. I use it for the bathroom, hallway, and conservatory, two sprays for each room, and the place smells clean for several hours. If I do this in the morning and come home in the afternoon, I can still perceive the scent.

I get a clean, medically white scent explosion like rarely before; it smells freshly cleaned, hygienically pure, and yet cozy. For me, this is the ideal room scent; I don’t let it run out. Better than all plug-in scents, reed diffusers, or rhythmic spray scent devices. I’ve tried everything, taken it all down, and found this scent: Perfect.

If someone wants to be perceived olfactorily and likes musk, they should spray this scent at DM on a cold winter day and test it. There’s not much to it; I don’t really recognize the whole 12 components that are listed. For example, I don’t perceive the vanilla at all, just like the rose; I can’t detect the gourmand note either. Benzoin, amber, sandalwood, and patchouli: definitely. Although it’s not an annoying patchouli. I find it well blended and, in its own way, harmonious. If it doesn’t bother you that it’s detectable 30 seconds before it turns the corner, you should definitely test this scent.

Totally synthetic and meh

At first, when I smelled the fragrance on paper, I found it pleasant due to the lack of sweetness. I've worn it a few times now and can agree with most opinions here. It is absolutely synthetic and smells a bit like plastic. It also doesn't really develop, and the cozy warm feeling of musk doesn't emerge. When I wear it solo, after an hour it smells like I've been smoking. Mega gross unfortunately.

I don't know why this one gets such a bad rap? Maybe the name isn't quite right.
