dark like a post noir mystery film
I tried Floral sculpture today.
Thank god I didn't buy it because of comments that say it is a cheaper quality dupe of FM Portrait of a lady! I hate Portrait of a lady.
This cheerful Floral parfum has nothing to do with the above fragrance by Frederic Malle. I got it at a very good bargain, only the bottle and lid, no box.
Very well rounded parfum, not too sweet, not too woody,not too citrusy.
Very nice fresh patchouli with roses, pink peonies, pink carnations all wrapped in a sweet cloud of benzoin and amber.
So basically this is a dark rosey unisex fragrance.
Carnations give it a spicy, peppery hint. I am not sure the ambergris compliments this lovely floral amber.It makes the explosion of these beautiful flowers flat as the drydown gets too soapy powdery and the perfume becomes more of a skin scennt!
