Jump Up and Kiss Me Hedonistic Clive Christian 2017

I own both the 50ml and 75ml of Hedonistic. They are the exact same juice, so I wanted to end all the speculation.

Hedonistic is a beautiful sour cherry dominant fragrance that is blended to perfection with leather, labdanum, clary sage and a hint of tobacco. Only the cherry note is noticeable to my nose, but there is a rich warm current running underneath to give the fragrance depth.

This is unisex leaning slightly masculine.

Hedonistic is an absolute “dumb reach” for nights out and will garner compliments.

Sillage and projection are excellent.

If the prices were more budget friendly, this would be a daily wearer for the masses.

JUMP UP AND KISS ME HEDONISTIC is absolutely addictive, utterly complex and one of the most praised blends in the market with a reason. It has so many facets in it from the deep and dark fruitiness in the opening, through the sensual and intense floral heart with Tobacco to a rich oriental base. The special individuality of this fragrance is brought by three elements. Skillfully crafted Black Cherry together with Vanilla creates a subtle gourmand character. A dry and smoky tobacco with sweet nuances of maple, caramel, and hints of violet, rose, and whiskey is ingeniously created. The base is enriched with Labdanum which includes opulence of ambery, leathery and smoky facets, gentle balsamic, resinous qualities and soft, delicate side of Vanilla and Tonka. The texture is thick and creamy but not so opulent than the texture of Ecstatic. Both are luxurious, head-turners with extremely high quality and exceptionally skillful blending.

Hedonistic’s sibling Jump Up and Kiss Me Ecstatic is not so complex and I don’t find them similar at all. There is Amber and Tonka in the base of Ecstatic but it’s not that kind of “ambery” like you could think when seeing the notes. You can find some other fragrances which are in the same category with Ecstatic, I mean like other options when choosing some creamy white floral but I don't know of any competitors to Hedonistic because it's so unique. I have written a review of Ecstatic as well.

The longevity is eternal, easily the whole day.

There is a huge list in "Smells similar" part and I have to say that I disagree with them. Like I said Jump Up and Kiss Me Ecstatic is not similar at all but you can sense that they are in the same collection.
XXI: Art Deco - Blonde Amber - no, they share only a hint of the same dna but honestly I can't stand that scent.
"Side Effect | Initio" - no, nothing except the written Tobacco note, and yes, only written.
Lost Cherry Eau de Parfum - no, it's utterly linear and boring Cherry so like written Tobacco in Side Effect, only a written Cherry is common.
I could continue the list but there is nothing like Jump Up and Kiss Me Hedonistic .

The blend contains 209 ingredients and all the entire list of the notes is not revealed.

Top: Black Cherry, Clary sage, Bergamot, Grapefruit, Maté tea, Neroli

Middle: Orris, Jasmine, Papyrus, Tobacco

Base: Amber, Leather, Labdanum, Tonka Bean, Vanilla

It gives me a lot of motivation to write more.

Just the smell alone reminds me of all occasions I've worn it and memories I made with it. Since the first time I tried it I was in love. The scent is not super unique but it has that super luxury clive christian signature twist to it. For me, this scent is a powerhouse, it lasts and lasts and lasts and I love wearing it in summer nights, thats where it absolutely shines. Did I mention compliments? This scent will definitely get you noticed. It has this cherry and leather notes which are irresistible. The bottle is also gorgeous, talking about the 75 ml one which I was lucky to find. This scent will always be special and stay in my collection. Simple yet complex, common yet decadent. The special molecules used in this collection really make it pheromone like. Must try from the house, my favourite one from clive by far.

Every now and again (usually spurred on by some snide comment and accompanying eyeroll from my wife), I find myself second-guessing my decision to exhaust so much time and money on this enjoyable (yet admittedly frivolous) fragrance pursuit. During these times of shameful self-reflection - and seemingly without fail - I will come across a fragrance that reminds me why I gave myself to this pastime in the first place. Jump Up and Kiss Me Hedonistic (aptly named!) is just such a scent. For me, it is an intoxicating potion that gently encourages my sweet self-indulgence.

SCENT: Simply put: this is a work of olfactory art. It is deep, dark and sumptuous. I'm not big into cherry but it's exquisitely done here. Per the note breakdown, I get iris, cocoa and jasmine in the mid. Accessible leather in the base. This transitions so elegantly and meaningfully that I was repeatedly caught off guard throughout the wearing. I actually caught myself saying "Damn" a couple of times to no one in particular.

LONGEVITY: "All day." 10-12 hours easily. It melds with my skin.

SILLAGE: I can't say definitively. During my initial two wearings, I was alone and working from home. But damn, I was in love with myself. I have no doubt that when I debut it around others it will make itself known.

BOTTLE: I'm not a huge fan of CC bottles. Having said that, you could put this shit in a mayo jar and I would cop it.

VALUE FOR THE MONEY: Value is impossible to quantify. It's worth it to me (albeit heavily discounted) as I think it's artistry and sensuality in a bottle. The name says it all, though. This was a decadent purchase. For the love of God, please don't tell my wife.

Masterpiece.

There’s only a handful of perfumes I consider 10/10
And this is absolutely one of them
Potentially my favourite ever perfume

The strong dark cherry is balanced perfectly by the sweet spices, amber, leather and florals
It’s very sexy, but is serious enough to be wearable in pretty much every situation
It’s genuinely perfect

The notes sound super heavy and cloying, but there’s a surprising amount of freshness from the fruit
Surprisingly wearable in summer, just don't overspray I implore you

Perfectly balanced and blended. IMO this is significantly better than Blonde awmber, which is very good

Hedonistic is a masterpiece
But the price is absolutely disgusting
