hate it but love it?

weird and super strange, repulsive even but something keeps drawing me in. The ginger here is sharp and medicinal, gross even, the beer reminiscent of a drunkards breath late at night, but the leather and fig….such a weirdly sensual and rich composition that entices my nose. It’s disgusting…but equally alluring

Short-lived like a dangerously good cocktail

I sit down in my regular spot and listen to the jazz music playing over the hidden Sonos speakers. The bartender prepares my Moscow Mule in a copper cup and serves it with a slice of cucumber and a few drops of Angostura bitters. The cocktail is so good that it's gone in 3 sips despite its fair amount and strength.
That evening, I am alone. The enjoyment is lonesome.

This fragrance is extraordinarily artistic. I can't help but constantly smell my wrist, where I applied the scent. I can't expect anything less when it comes from the same nose that also created the legendary Eccentric.
Angir is a beautifully green fragrance that opens with a slightly bitter yet fresh cucumber (even though it's not listed) and has a sweet body of fig. All of this is complemented by a special leather. Like a book that has been beautifully bound in leather.
It is thoroughly a scent that has a texture, so to speak. Lightly sparkling, like a fine sparkling wine. Or in this case, ginger beer.

As much as I adore this scent, I am equally frustrated that it has a very weak and short longevity on my skin. It also doesn't have a strong sillage, as it is rather close to the skin; nevertheless, I enjoy "over-spraying" the fragrance. However, this will probably excite very few, unless they are right next to your skin, which ultimately means you can only appreciate the liquid and fragrant artwork alone.
