The Scottish gentleman
Baraonda was one of my first niche fragrances, which I bought after reading several reviews.
Many other fragrances followed, but Baraonda remains one of my absolute favorites.
I imagine that it is the scent of a Scottish gentleman who has his country estate up in the Highlands and sips a glass of whiskey in the evening and sits in front of the fireplace wearing a thick turtleneck sweater.
The fragrance is certainly not for everyone due to its heaviness, sweetness and booziness - but that's perfectly fine. I therefore don't see it as a people pleaser but as a beautiful, whiskey fragrance - without much development, but that's not a bad thing. Personally, I just really like this linear fragrance profile!
