40 Knots XerJoff 2012

The 40 Knots by Xerjoff is a really interesting fragrance, which is also reflected in the many different reviews.
For some it is an outstanding summer fragrance, others see it more in the office or on festive occasions and still others describe it more as a winter fragrance.
As I own the fragrance myself, I can really understand this rollercoaster of associations and couldn't decide for myself where this fragrance fits perfectly - but that's exactly what makes it so attractive in my opinion!
I was also a little surprised by the initial sweet, woody incense note that I noticed when I first sprayed it on. I hadn't imagined the 40 Knots to be like this. If you then wait a little, this woody note fades into the background and the sweetness of the honey with the salt water accords takes over. Now I can see myself in linen on the deck of a ship or taking an evening stroll along the beach.
Add another 1-2 sprays and then wear a shirt and trousers to dinner - the 40 Knots is also a hit here! Due to its pleasantness, I don't see why it shouldn't be worn in the office as well.

All in all, 40 Knots is an everyday fragrance for me - and that is meant in a purely positive way! You can confidently wear it on all occasions and always be on the safe side!
