Like the bottle, like the fragrance
Blamage fascinates me.
He is somehow familiar to me.
It doesn't feel like you've gained a completely new scent impression after smelling it for the first time. And yet I found myself putting the back of my hand to my nose again and again to find out what it was that I was smelling.
The opening is synthetic. A hint of "squeaky" (?) plastic.
After that, however, a creamy mix of floral and woody notes forms quite quickly, which sit on a slightly animalic (musky?) base.
I have to say that I like it very much.
A blend that takes you just a little off the beaten track.
Never so far that you get lost in the birch forest.
Incidentally, the fragrance in combination with the bottle gives me the unrealistic expectation that birch resin smells the same.
The oil version lasts very well. However, if you want it a little louder, you should go for Blamage Extrait de Parfum.
You can also buy the oil separately from the three-part set on the Nasomatto website.
