Tart berries for summer
I don't know what happened with my nose and this one. I tried it a few times from a store tester and loved it, especially the drydown which came across as gorgeously creamy and summery on my skin.
Then I got a bottle and fell out of love, which is extremely unusual for me. I tested it in different weather conditions, on my arm and as a full wearing, but Sun Pop Arty Pink is never as good as when I first tried it. I find the redcurrant and lemon rather sour and weirdly sticky, and sadly, the creaminess of the drydown can't stand up to the sourness. On the plus side, the redcurrant is identifiable and doesn't just smell like a random berry. The florals are nice, they have a bit of a sunscreen vibe due to the tiare, but they don't give me those lovely wafts that I got from the store tester. The vanilla is very subtle, not strong enough to warm up the scent. Texturally this has a bit of that spicy-powdery Jil Sander DNA, which I enjoy.

Maybe this gets better when it stands in a warm perfume store for months and years, it's honestly the most likely explanation. Unfortunately I don't have time for that. It's nice the way it is, just nothing I really need in my life, an unenthusiastic like. It might be perfect if you like your fruity summer scents really tart, but I prefer them sweeter. I passed this on.

My Summer Companion
Even though I have already written a statement, I have worn the fragrance so often lately that I would like to "gift" it a comment now. I bought Arty Pink together with my boyfriend before I started to delve deeper into fragrances here on parfumo. I was looking for a perfume for everyday use, something that is also suitable for the office and, above all, wearable in the summer months. The eye-catching bottles of the Sun Pop range caught our attention, and all three were tested. We both liked the pink one the best (even though I would have preferred otherwise, as pink is not really my thing and I found the other two colors much prettier :D) and it was thus purchased.

Upon spraying, a zesty, fruity note immediately surrounds you. It is berry-like, but not too sweet, which I attribute to the lemon, even though I can't distinctly smell it. This uncomplicated, cheerful, and slightly cheeky fragrance lifts my spirits; I feel comfortable, buoyant, and pleasantly scented. The impression lasts throughout. Later, the fruitiness becomes a bit softer, with flowers and vanilla joining in, mellowing the zestiness without overpowering it. Unfortunately, I then have to hold my nose directly in the crook of my elbow (this is where fragrances work and last best for me) to still perceive Arty Pink clearly; otherwise, the scent only wafts around me now and then. I find this quite unfortunate, as I particularly enjoy the combination of fruit, jasmine, and vanilla.

Overall, I am quite satisfied with the fragrance. Yes, I even like it. Because it is exactly what I wished for: a zesty, uncomplicated perfume that puts me in a good mood in the morning before work. I can overlook the rather mediocre longevity at a price of €30 for 100ml (at least when I bought it). It doesn't have repurchase potential for me, but that was never intended. Arty Pink was never planned as a signature scent or anything similar; it is my companion for this summer :)

Smells like chewing gum, synthetic and alien jasmine with pink plastic glaze. Not particularly summery or sunny. Unfortunately, not poppy either.

Sour fruits on sweet flowers, maybe a bit too sweet for summer and a bit overwhelming in the first hour - but it fades quickly.

Very original. Sun Pop Arty Pink has almost the same fragrance pyramid as Sun Sorbet.

A mood booster for dreary weather, house cleaning, and gloomy thoughts. Every now and then, just my thing ;)

Truly not a masterpiece, but I don't understand why it scores so poorly. Fresh-sweet-fruity and uncomplicated in summer.

Light, floral, somewhat synthetic scent. Pleasant, but for me too lacking in character, and unfortunately too much jasmine -> not a candidate for purchase.

starts with sour berries and ends with sweet flowers, a nice light summer companion

Shock...toilet cleaner! Shortly after, it develops into an absolutely delicate, floral scent! For me, the best sun fragrance. I will stock up...

"SUN"? Yes! Smells like sunscreen, sweet sunscreen...
For the price, there are fragrances that do it better, not a must-have for her.
