Salt on My Skin
“Ocean” really smells like the vast, deep blue ocean.
Fresh and cool, it is already noticeable upon spraying.
I perceive a distinct whiff of salt, reminiscent of seawater on the skin and the humid sea air in the nose.
No gentle surf with a long, flat beach comes to mind when I smell the fragrance; rather, the image of crashing spray and powerful waves crashing against the cliffs.
More stormy North Atlantic than tropical Caribbean.
It may be a somewhat one-dimensional scent, as I can't perceive much else besides the fresh aquatic salt note.
But definitely interesting.
The longevity is surprisingly good.
