An absolute steal for the price!

This is officially my first perfume oil and my first forray into arabian perfumes. I was quite hyped when I got it as I've read countless of reviews about this sublime vanilla. As for the price... It was an absolute steal.

When I got it and rolled it on my skin (got a 10ml rollerball), I was immediately greeted with the gentle sweetness of airy vanilla and musk. I have to say I'm quite pleased with how vanilla and musk have been blended together. Vanilla is light and ethereal, giving off a pleasant sweetness without becoming too overbearing or cloying. Musk is like a light caress on the skin: never turned sour or dirty and played nice with the vanilla note. It's possibly a dupe for the well-known, pricey Tihota I have in my collection and although I can smell a few differences (Tihota is a bit more deep and complex), this is a cheaper dupe if you don't have the means to get Francis Kurkdjian's version. I smell the same creamy vanilla bakery vibe with a gentle frosting of sugary sweetness.

As a perfume oil it does stay close to the skin, so don't expect a vanilla beast mode fragrance, It's inoffensive enough and can be worn for any occasions. I found it quite soothing and relaxing to wear and will probably be repurchasing it once I run out of my 10ml rollerball. A nice discovery!

Vanilla Musk- simple and straightforward

This is a light, musky creamy vanilla- if you're looking for a strong vanilla... look elsewhere lol. It's perfect for me! I live in the USA, and I got my Vanilla Musk in store at WholeFoods, so I got to test it before I bought hehe. I layer this with Dulce by Rosie Jane and I think the two are similar. I also understand the comparison to Escapade Gourmand. Overall, a nice musky vanilla in an intimate skin scent, although a bit pricey.

Vanilla Musk

I am really loving this fragrance. It's always hard to find my perfect vanilla and I will be forever on the hunt for vanillas. This is a very sweet vanilla. Musk can be hit or miss for me but in here I feel it works really well together. It's balanced. It's fun. A win for me. I say if you want to get this get it in the big bottle on Nemats official website because it's a much better value then getting the small one.

Amazing

This gets so much sweeter once the liquid gets really dark. It was always sweet to me but the musk overpowered it and made it more of a “clean sweet” vanilla. Whereas now, I barely get the musk just sweet vanilla.
I never got the reviews that said it smells like cakes, I still dont but I can get the vibe of vanilla frosting instead. It’s more a creamy vanilla frosting than a sugary vanilla.

pretty good!

I got a rollerball one as part of the discovery set Ulta has, and also tried the spray from a friend of mine who also owns it. I really like it a lot! It has this really creamy, almost vanilla frosting type of aroma to it. It's not a saccharine, tooth-rottingly sweet vanilla, though. Think more "bespoke bakery buttercream cupcake" than "grocery store sugar cookies" (grocery store sugar cookies still have a place in my heart though).

I think it's great alone if you're a fan of vanilla scents, and even greater to layer with other gourmet fragrances. Definitely fitting for autumn/winter. It also doesn't project very much, it sticks close to your skin, but considering it's an oil that's kinda par for the course. I think the price for a full-size oil bottle is ok.

A word of caution: the EDP has a different composition from the dabber/rollerball that you usually see at Ulta or Whole Foods. For me, the EDP's fragrance is softer/lighter. It's still a fine perfume nonetheless, but personally I'd suggest the dabber/rollerball over the EDP, especially when factoring in price.

Supposedly Bath and Body Works' Viva Vanilla body spray is an incredibly close dupe in spray form, but I have yet to try it myself so I cannot 100% guarantee. Just including this in here to add to the info here on Parfumo :)
