Whoever keeps things in order...
...is just too lazy to search.
This wisdom came to my mind when I was looking for my necklace with the legendary Jeff Koons balloon dog pendant at home.
A piece of jewelry that I cherish - but unfortunately, it’s not hanging on me.
Turning everything upside down - why not search in the perfume shelf?
I have the most whimsical storage places for my things.
The bottles shifted and moved - and suddenly I had a full! beautifully shaped bottle in my hand - Musc Exotic Love by Nerval.
What a find!
I used to wear the entire series with great pleasure in the early eighties.
Carefully took a spray and the scent unfolds unspoiled in all its beautiful fullness.
Exotic Love is a true oriental, garnished with ripe exotic fruits.
Mmm, I can distinguish papaya and mango.
Along with a surge of warm, soft vanilla, crowned with a spoonful of honey.
A fragrance that practically glows with warmth.
Nerval dared something - luckily!
By today’s standards, it would not be an Eau de Toilette, but an Eau de Parfum Intense.
It has an enormous presence, yet is not intrusive at all.
Even my husband came dangerously close to me, and he has a very sensitive nose.
No wonder - he always liked to surprise me back then with a sprout from Nerval.
Maybe his favorite, "Wild Love," is still hiding somewhere?
That would be nice.
So, the motto is: Don’t search - Find!
