Kinda decent spicy-woody-tobacco cheapo...maybe
I didn't know of the existence of a brand called Oriflame up until I saw this, Architect, mentioned as similar smelling to Burberry London. I found it for a very cheap price on ebay and picked it up. Firstly, it does have some kind of similarity to London. The greenish tobacco note, I'd say. But besides that it has nothing to do with London. This is very cheap and kinda synthetic smelling, obviously. Opens with that same greenish-woodyish-tobacco note, like London, but supported with a huge dose of Cardamom and some kinda generic spicy-citrus thing. Sorta weird in a way. The the woody heart also has a kinda generic woody-cedary feel to it. Nothing polished or nuanced or smooth. It's just crude & rough around the edges, and not in a creative way. And then there's a kinda spicy-leathery note. But few hours in the whole scent turns down the knobs a bit and here it gets a bit decent. Slightly smoother now. The woody-leathery feel gets a little rounded. The patchouli adds a nice sense of warmth and muskiness to the base. I really can't detect any vetiver listed here. Overall, a kinda decent spicy-woody-tobacco cheapo...maybe for someone who is really new to fragrances and is on a tight budget. But most importantly - absolutely no real comparision to Burberry London. That's a completely different planet.
