Full of the Lily of the Valley, uh
Diorissimo Extrait will forever remain one of my most beautiful (youth) memories - I received a 3.5 ml bottle of PURE perfume as a gift for my 15th birthday! I was over the moon about the honor of a real, high-quality perfume!! - and also because of the delicate scent.
The EdT, EdP, or Esprit dP from Dior never matched the scent of the old Extrait - I was always very disappointed.
Not to mention other lily of the valley fragrances - Guerlain: flop
Cheap alternatives: flop... and now, quite by chance and carelessness
I ordered this EdP.
It is exactly the note, the sweetness and bitterness of the (old) Dior Extrait! Piercing sweetness is softened by green bitterness - the composition hardly allows the individual ingredients to peek through - but the WHOLE is so much lily of the valley that it chimes!
The concentration - sillage - longevity far surpasses Dior - you can dab it on like an Extrait.
I almost want to warn against spraying it with the included spray head - it can quickly become too much.
Even lily of the valley in the woods wants to be sniffed out, there in the sun-dappled shade - bend down! They won't crawl up!
Likewise, this exquisite natural scent should not be diluted - someone should "approach" to feel the whisper...
Highly recommended, if only for nostalgic reasons!
