You're an old acquaintance..
The fragrance was a blind buy. I never really do that but I fell in love with this brand and so far, I've probably tested 90% of the fragrances from the brand now, there was only one fragrance that I absolutely couldn't stand, all the others were just great.
The brand is not a power brand, there are hardly any screamers but Damask Eau de Parfum is probably the absolute exception. I sprayed 2 sprays on a handkerchief a few hours ago and the whole kitchen smells very strongly of Damask Eau de Parfum even though the handkerchief is already in the garbage can...
The fragrance is very similar to Delina Eau de Parfum, only more fruity and not as acidic as Delina Eau de Parfum. The Damask rose is also very present here. In the drydown, the berries become more prominent, but the rose remains the absolute protagonist. The other notes are totally submerged in a sea of Damask roses. The white musk annoys me a little throughout the fragrance, I always struggle with this note. White musk is always scratchy and makes every fragrance a bit too garish.
I had Delina Exclusif in my collection several times years ago, so I'll have to wait and see if I can cope with a flanker now. Because my Delina time is actually long gone. I always felt a bit dressed up when I wore Delina but maybe it's time for a hyper feminine rose fragrance again. For me it's a summer scent and spring is just around the corner. Careful when spraying, the fragrance could work very nicely.
So if you are a fan of all the Delinas and are looking for something very similar for a cheaper price, not that Damask Eau de Parfum is cheap but almost half the price is also worth considering, you should definitely test the Damask Eau de Parfum. H+S is astronomical on my skin.
