Both harm themselves: the one who promises too much and the one who expects too much. Gotthold Ephraim Lessing

Somehow this scent or this cool contrast, whatever... reminds me of Joop Wow. The sweetness and the sillage are almost identical. I've been searching for the black pepper for three hours now, but I haven't found a single grain. I found the synthetic sweetness to be excessive and it reminds me of cotton candy; I can't detect any apple. Maybe I'm always eating the wrong Smith Granny variety, which isn't sweet at all. For a low-budget fragrance, it's certainly not bad, but nothing more. It is clearly inferior to Joop in terms of longevity. The opening is also too artificial and goes into a penetrating note that not everyone will appreciate. Unless they are 14 years old and discovering the world of fragrances anew. Somehow I thought a house like Mäurer&Wirtz could do more than just bring this dupe to market. For a fragrance pioneer, that's not really much. For a fragrance novice, it would be a remarkable achievement.
