Luxury in Everyday Life

Today I tried Luxure and am pleasantly surprised.

It's delightful when affordable fragrances are indeed worth their price - and Luxure certainly is.

The opening is fruity and soft, then brightened by the freesia.
Velvety rose and peony join in, deepening the soft overall impression of the fragrance.
The woods are noble and soft, and truly convey a luxurious statement.
The patchouli embraces, while vetiver adds a green sweetness.

Not a scent for a grand evening appearance, but a touch of luxury for everyday life.

The longevity is good - Luxure is perceptible for hours without being loud.
It consistently maintains its soft sensuality.

I am pleased with this fragrance discovery.

Headache like with Evidence...

I received the gift set consisting of cream, shower gel, and perfume last Christmas and finally wanted to test it recently. So I dared to try the cream, and that was enough for me. The scent is so overpowering and smells somewhat cheap. It gives me a headache like Evidence. Overall, the scent reminds me a lot of Evidence by Yves Rocher. At first, not bad, but I can't quite place it. Maybe a bit floral and sweet, but somehow also strangely different, which I can't describe ;-)

The next morning, I thoroughly washed off the cream and was very relieved to be rid of it. I washed my pajamas and bed linens and preferred to use my other fragrance that I currently have in use (Yves Rocher - Tendre Jasmin).

Luxure is not luxurious for me, and I will be looking for a new owner for it. Unfortunately, it's just not my thing. It's too much Evidence for me and simply doesn't suit me...

I like it exceptionally well!

I’ve just tried it with my latest acquisition.. it wasn’t planned but who can resist when it goes boom :-) I’m actually surprised that this scent wasn’t released for spring, as most people will surely want to wear it in warmer temperatures. At first, you primarily smell citrus; thankfully, I can’t explicitly identify the pineapple, as it doesn’t dominate sharply but rather subtly rounds off the composition. So the first impression is fresh, clean, and like just out of the shower. Once the initial kick fades, the rose comes into play, definitely stronger than the jasmine and so wonderfully pure and elegant, without being sharp in the nose. But what I find most beautiful is the base, as that’s where the scent truly gains character. Patchouli is just as subtly present here as the pineapple; I wouldn’t have expected it to be in there. If I had to describe the scent as briefly as possible, I would say: dew-kissed, sweet creamy flowers. The perfume actually has something luxurious about it for me, but not in the sense of pink flashy kitsch like the Geißen, but rather elegant and well-groomed, more like dusty rose with a turquoise paisley pattern. I like it.
