Not similar enough to GIT

To me this is not enough like GIT to be compared. I love GIT and Cool Water, but Creed is way over priced and CW has pretty poor longevity, so I was hoping for a similar feel that will last all day without breaking the bank. I blind bought this based on the DNA it supposedly shares, and the quality of PV, so I thought it would be a slam dunk. This was a huge let down for me, and I don’t like the scent even when not comparing it to the others. It reminds me most of Profondo’s briny, oceanic dry down mixed with something vaguely reminiscent of GIT. I’m going to have sell or gift this, because I don’t really like it.

A stunning interpretation of a classic.

I am floored. This IS vintage GIT! It’s unbelievable how this can smell exactly the same, but it does. I have a bottle of GIT from 1997, and it is literally indistinguishable. But, EI is a much better performer, it lasts much, much longer AND after 5-6 hours it turns just a bit sweet smelling. An outstanding value.
