Almost Elysium

It is hot outside and you just want to smell realy good and fresh and to be noticed during the entire day.
This one reminds me of Elysium, but i feel it Stronger on vetiver and very Citric... It is a wonderfull perfume with an amazing longevity and sillage (12+ hours on my skin). It is extremely Bright, a true eye opener that shines on the hotter days!
Love it!

Hmm inspiring, but with reservations. Comparison to Cologne and Extrait

So if you're looking for juniper, vetiver, etc., you won't find it here. PV Soir opens more citrusy compared to the Cologne and Extrait. You can interpret all the notes as you like, but one thing stands out to me: PV Soir smells (at least my sample) citrusy for 6 hours and has none - at most barely any - of the multidimensionality that the original has (both variants). PV Soir smells nice, but in the drydown, it is not in the same league as the Cologne or Extrait at all. The warmth, gentleness, slight bitterness that defines the Cologne and especially the Extrait is very much lacking in PV Soir. Additionally, after 6 hours, PV Soir smells musty on the skin (possibly the residual alcohol).

For me, PV Soir will be a sporty everyday scent when I'm active, etc., but for my nose and especially for occasions, I will continue to reach for the Cologne or Extrait.

A tip: when testing, instead of test strips, it's better to snag some cotton pads/makeup remover pads from the lady.

Hope this helps those searching who appreciate the complexity of the original and can't/won't do without it.

Elysium? Really

The opening is somewhat different from Elysium, regardless of the version.

Fruity, spicy, leathery, slightly animalistic due to the musk... actually an exciting combination.
Then in the base notes, it smells more similar... but I have to say it smells less chlorinated than Elysium.

Definitely Elysium but less fruity with berries and more focus on the vetiver with sparkling lemon. More and more similar in drydown

Actually a good alternative to Elysium.
The grapefruit is a bit soda-like.
Carbonated. Super fresh.
The base is very close to the original.

For me, the highest quality Elysium dupe with a bit more citrus than the original. No sharp synthetic notes, performance is great. Bravo!

Compared to the Elysium cologne, the Roja is a bit finer in the first 10 minutes. After that, it's absolutely identical but lasts much longer.

It's very similar to Rojas Elysum perfume. A tangy, zesty refreshment with bitter notes. Reminds me of summer :)

In the drydown, it comes very close to the Elysium perfume. Longevity is very good. Overall, a nice scent. But unfortunately not an original, it lacks depth.
