Imbue Parfums Vintage

Gucci Pour Homme II was one of my favourite fragrances and I was gutted when it was discontinued. So when I heard about Imbue by Parfums Vintage, it was an instabuy.

I eagerly sprayed it on as soon as I received and wow - it's exactly as I remember GPHII. I'm sure there are some subtle differences, but they've been lost to memory for me, and this is as good as an exact clone - I've never smelled such a convincing dupe of any fragrance.

Longevity is excellent, I can still smell it after a few hours of spraying, and the dry down is lovely. I can definitely see myself buying another bottle once I've finished with the current one.

A nice, well blended and calming fragrance. Not the best from the House of PV but decent to say the least. Imbue is something to wear on a Sunday afternoon when drinking tea and reading a book. Longevity is awesome at 8+ hours.

For me, Imbue by Parfums Vintage is a true "feel-good fragrance" that can be worn all year round, except for the sweltering summer heat.
I was able to test Gucci pour homme II and Imbue side by side. The difference is hardly noticeable to me.

Short & Sweet YES!!!

Especially due to the significantly longer longevity. (the GUCCI is known to be much too weak "on the chest"). The sillage is also noticeably more extensive, combined with a slightly spicier note, making it my current favorite among spring/summer fragrances. (One that can finally be perceived for a long "enough" time)

For all those who miss GUCCI Pour Homme II and are looking for a more than worthy "successor," this fragrance will definitely impress despite the high price.

This fragrance is simply wonderful. It is 95 percent similar to Gucci pour homme 2.....however, the freshness of the bergamot is definitely more pronounced here. I don't find that to be a problem at all. As a result, it smells a bit fresher and fits even better into spring and summer.
A great interpretation of the scent DNA from the original!!!
