Face me father...
... kratos said to Zeus and fought to the bitter end.

So or so similarly I perceive Emperor Extrait of Parfums Vintage in comparison to Creed Aventus, a comparison that almost imposes itself.
Aventus on the one hand by many, of course also by me, absolutely idolized, a fragrance that lives forever from its image, be it the constant batch discussions or the numerous dupes,
but today is to be about Emperor Extrait which is metaphorically then represented by Kratos, who has no divine status to begin with.

Parfums Vintage is a perfume house from Great Britain which has specialized mainly in the cloning of well-known fragrances, especially Aventus with various batches
Preliminary, I collect since late 2019 fragrances and have then also bought my Aventus and can only refer to this in a comparison, but it is also far too mystical for me to deal with Aventus batches. It is simply indifferent to me, because one I would not be the type of the ready to spend a lot of money on something what perhaps my expectations for the vast sums one would have to spend would not meet.
To the fragrance:

The opening is already a battle of fruity notes, especially the dominant pineapple against the very nice patchouli musk base, which from the beginning gives the fragrance its smoky character. The pineapple is the main actor of the fragrance in the first 2 hours.

In the drydown finally joins a great pear note, for me the most beautiful part of the fragrance, simply unbeatable in combination with the smoky base, which also makes Aventus.
The eternal twist is just what I like so much, I don't know what I like better but you get both for a very long time, very homogeneous.

The fragrance eventually fades out with the smoky character.
About the performance:

The durability is with me about 10-12 hours, Sillage is pretty good, no Beastmode, rather always very well present, but still radiates very well from the skin, just typical of Extrait de Parfum.
He is a little less power than Aventus initially, hälte but longer.
To the packaging:

Well, the fragrance comes in a very nice looking, albeit equally plain box.
3 out of 10 points.
To the conclusion:
I like the word clone in relation to this fragrance is, even though it is obviously one.
It is a fragrance for Aventus lovers, which absolutely does not have to hide, on the contrary, it is for me both from the quality and DNA on a par.
With Aventus you also buy the brand name, here not.
The Emperor Extrait had to prove itself with me also first, because no less than Aventus itself was the measure and he has with bravura.

Just as in the end Kratos, who is a demigod, Zeus struck down the father of the gods,
so too, in the end, Emperor Extrait is my narrow winner.

A high-quality alternative to the vintage fragrances from the Aventus history
Creed Aventus, the big hype.
My Aventus years were the years 2011 to 2016, as far as I can remember correctly. It was still a really niche fragrance back then, but the batches were still talked about like probably no other perfume.
Aventus gave me a great time back then. But at some point, even that time let go of me and I didn't get involved with fragrances for a few years.
When I wanted to start using Aventus again not so long ago, I was shocked. The price? Bought up by a megacorporation? Watered down formula? I felt a little left behind and was also a little sad that my Aventus time would probably not come back. Creed is no longer a small family business and Aventus is no longer what it used to be. What a shame.

But in the end, I felt the same way as many others: Once you've been enchanted by the Aventus DNA, you won't want to miss it again.

In my search for an alternative, I ended up sticking with Emperor Extrait. There are countless Aventus dupes and many smell good in their own way. But only Emperor Extrait by Parfums Vintage manages to take me back in time. If you had 5 years of Aventus as your signature fragrance back then, you know that every batch smells a little different. Emperor Extrait could just be another batch from the past for me, with no compromises. The longevity and sillage also convince me. Compared to many other dupes, you can also tell that high-quality ingredients have been used here.

When you look at the prices for a genuine vintage Creed Aventus fragrance, Emperor Extrait is the best possible alternative I can imagine!

The better Aventus
Moin together, right at the beginning I must say that this is my first review ever and I'm not an Aventus batch expert and thus can not draw a comparison to the popular smokier Aventus variants. I stumbled through a yt video on the Emperor Extrait, where he was just compared with exactly these vintage batches and since I'm incredibly curious, I bought this then also first as a sample, then complete.
Now to the fragrance: it opens citrus / fruity, but not as penetrating artificial as the cdnim.
In the further course then comes the smoke and the typical Aventus DNA with exellenter durability. With steer and shipping the thing was at about 250 euros. Whether he is worth the money? For me it is. For beginners I would recommend other alternatives. For Aventus lovers, however, he could be a real treasure

A comparison in search of the Grail
How many are probably looking for the "holy grail" of Aventus batches? How many euros have rolled across the souk counter - hoping for a little more smokiness or durability? Sample after sample, batch after batch. This discussion alone drives the Aventus cult. The search for perfection - everything used to be better, right? The dupe industry is delighted - following in the footsteps of the past, one or two fragrance twins are finding their way into the hearts of long-established Aventurians to elicit the unattainable nostalgia from their longing hearts.

And for me? To be honest: I hardly know Aventus. A friend has one of the more sought-after 2019 batches. I have a 2022 batch myself. I'm not an expert. My journey only began with the Explorer, which is not a dupe at all, but at most an inspiration.

But that's not the point here. Well - maybe a little bit. After all, I want to offer you what you really want - if we're honest - when you scroll through the reviews and statements in search of answers: How is it now, the Emperor Extrait Extrait compared to its role model Aventus ? Let's talk straight to the point.

In front of me on the desk, which is soaked with one or two samples of my now out-of-control hobby, are three pieces of paper and three cosmetic tissues. Written on each of them: Aventus, Club de Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition or Emperor Extrait Extrait. My small, personal mini-study from N=3. There were no more study participants to choose from. Statisticians among you will tell me that this study has little statistical power. But so be it. The room smells of Aventus. This significance could already be established a priori.

I spray it on and evaluate it as best I can. Of course, I am anything but objective. My nose is not all that fine. I'm just someone who's lost himself in the perfume world. I should have been told beforehand that there was pineapple in it.

Enough of the foreplay.

Aventus has a nice, fresh opening. My batch is consistent. Okay-fresh, okay-smoky, okay-green, okay-everything. I miss Creed's musky base. I was never really blown away by the fragrance. I understand that it's solid. But what I have learned is: In the air, in the sillage, the fragrance is far better than with the back of your hand on your nostril.

Club de Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition really packs a punch, but also has a correspondingly light synthetic quality that remains within limits. There is a brief hint of the classic toilet stone at first, but this soon fades. Much more smoke is perceptible here. But there is always an accompanying "bitterness" - I don't know where it comes from. But it's almost too much for me. I would have liked so much sweetness and fruit. Sometimes it comes in the "next day drydown". And only when the fragrance is in the room.

Emperor Extrait Extrait: Is egregiously close to Aventus. I would hardly be able to tell them apart if I hadn't marked my test strips accordingly. The Emperor has a tick more sweetness, a tick more fruitiness, after you get past the initial alcohol (takes under a minute to fade). Smokiness is there, but more in the background. The bitter notes are much less present. The progression is similar to Aventus. Later on, it is sweeter and fruitier than the other two. It's beautiful, and that's where I perceive the "something special" that I miss in my 22 Aventus and CDNILE.

That's a direct comparison, dear friends.

About the fragrance itself: The packaging is beautiful and of high quality. The bottle is solid, fits nicely in the hand and is attractive. The spray head looks high quality and is similar to the spray volumes of current Creed bottles. The lid (black for the extrait) should be plastic, no magnet or similar, but simple and fulfills its purpose.

What I would like to mention, however, is that the fragrance was unopened or unsprayed when I received it. And when I smelled the spray head for the first time, the drydown or what I smelled there was DROPPING! Aventus plus sweetness and fruitiness. And that somehow stuck in my nose. Even when the fragrance stood in front of me, unsprayed, for a few hours in the box, I imagined that I could still detect the scent slightly. Whether this says something about sillage, projection or durability, I can't say at all. Nor can I say whether this fragrance on the spray head is the real, final "drydown the next day". If this is the case, I'm thinking about whether I might be tempted to buy a Signature after all. I'd have to wear it longer for that - and perhaps an update on this will follow.

Well. The search for the holy grail. Who knows. Maybe someone will find it here. Or at the next attempt, the umpteenth rehearsal. Or maybe not at all, because we dwell on so many details in order to fulfill our (usually too high) expectations. After the beast, after the board, after what we think it used to be like, how it should be, how it ought to be - how it might never be.

Nearly spot on
I like pineapple scents & also Aventus.
So i had ta make a try with Emperor extrait!

The opening is a blend between pineapple/lime.. very much lime indeed but its getting more smooth as it dries down. Emperor remeinds me very much about Rasasi pour lui Zebra. But with more quality and better blended.

So how about performance? Well i had higher expectations about Emperor Extrait. Sillage is strong but not as strong a i wanted (5 hours before declining) and longevity about 8-9 hours before it gets into a skinscent.

Worth the hype? Yes i think so even if my expectations was higher.. Emperor is probably the clone with most balance & quality. It,s not a synthetic bomb like CDMi or fading away easily like explorer.
