Soft Egyptian Royalty

To me this is what it smelled like to be female royalty in ancient Egypt. Laying on a chaise in a fertile garden by the Nile, you just read the latest proclamation from a sheet of papyrus with fresh ink that smelled of cypriol. The garden air is soft, powdery and sweet. There's a dry florality about it, scented with hints of piquancy. It's warm and inviting, like the breeze coming off the Nile.

Scented Stationary

Papyrus in Acacia by Scents of Wood reminded me of softly scented stationary.
For me, this fragrance opened as creamy, fresh, and papery - dense, heavy-weight artisan paper. Dry down added a subtle resinous warmth to that creaminess.
Papyrus in Acacia reminded me of a less sweet Phlur Vanilla Skin with added depth and complexity.
I tested Papyrus in summer and think that it would perform better in cooler temperatures. Heat, at least in my case, brought out an unwanted added sweetness to the creamy notes. I also just associate cozy, vanillic warmth with cooler weather.
