Green, Slightly Bitter Orange Scent
The opening begins relatively harsh with a slight bitter note. However, this bitterness dissipates quite quickly. After that, I perceive orange peel, green foliage, a citrusy zest, juicy and refreshing. A hint of grapefruit is noticeable to me. Soon after, the scent becomes softer, gentler, slightly creamy, with the green note still shining through.

Olfactory Short Vacation in Calabria
Recently, there was a Parfumo members' meeting in Cologne. As a local (or rather, an immigrant), I didn't want to miss it. We met in a café and sniffed a ton of brought fragrances and exchanged samples. Unfortunately, I didn't know about this "tradition," as it was my first meeting, so I didn't bring any samples. Well, afterwards we visited several perfumeries and smelled to our heart's content. In the evening, we went to the perfumery SF Perfume history. The whole time I was unsuccessfully searching for a spicy oriental scent until I sniffed the citrusy Orange Calabria there.
First impression: Wow.
It's something special.
The other attendees also liked the scent at first sniff.
The Parfumo meeting was really cool. It ended around midnight in a cozy atmosphere at a Thai restaurant, and we were lucky - it was the last Saturday before the significant changes in public life due to the virus.

But about the scent:
I am greeted by a beautiful authentic burst of orange, neither sweet nor sour, with a slight lemony touch. It also reminds me a bit of Storck's 'nimm 2' candies.
The citrus note remains present and gradually fades, with the white musk coming through lightly. I can hardly perceive any other notes.
A citrusy-orange high-quality and very pleasant EdP in the style of a Cologne, with decent longevity, very enjoyable on warm days.

The bottle is stylish, the cap is heavy and shines beautifully golden. Not exactly a bargain price, but still within the affordable range.

So, my search for an oriental scent didn't work out, but now I enjoy the Mediterranean scent of bitter oranges in my nose on these warm days - and I drift mentally to Calabrian coastal villages while I let the sun pamper me on my balcony overlooking the backyard.

If you like "Orange Sanguine" and are looking for something fresh and orangey for warm days, you should definitely give Orange Calabria a try. Because in my opinion, the latter is even a bit better.

For me, it's more bitter grapefruit than oranges. Fresh, but a bit sharp. It has a certain distance to it. Still nice!

For me, there is the perfect orange, it's juicy with a delicious acidity, so much for the opening. After that, a softly creamy flower, very pleasant.

Starts with a natural orange blast (rather green and slightly bitter); jasmine/orange blossom complement nicely; the base adds a creamy touch...

Pure summer... Orange grove, ice-cold mint tea, jasmine climbing around the terrace and I'm enjoying this lovely refreshing scent. Wonderful!

A basket of oranges (some still green, some bitter, others fruity sweet), next to a bouquet of jasmine and orange blossoms - refreshing.

Authentic orange, not quite ripe + zesty fresh, peeled by hand. Unfortunately, it disappears as quickly as the fruit is eaten.
