s.Oliver is my niche?
Yes, why not?
Apart from the fact that my name is Oliver and the brand is already sympathetic to me for that reason alone, I have to admit: They really make quite good fragrances!
Okay, there are some boring ones as well, and they are not reinventing the wheel. But none of them are truly "disgusting."
About the new "Life Time Men": The bottle feels good in the hand and has a pleasant matte finish. The cap is secure and the sprayer works perfectly.
Right after spraying, I initially detected an alcoholic note, but that faded after a few seconds.
According to the fragrance pyramid, I should now write that it starts off citrusy. After all, grapefruit and lemon are listed as two citrus fruits. However, due to the spices, it feels more fruity than citrusy to me.
Ten minutes later, lavender and cypress become present, with a woody undertone. For about 3-4 hours, I can perceive something like a sillage (this fragrance never projects strongly), and after that, the scent remains detectable close to the skin for about 2 hours. You might find that disappointing, or it might be exactly what you want. Especially in the office, you don't need to fill the entire room with the scent all day.
At this price, you can spray a bit more generously and reapply during lunch break.
Conclusion: A pleasant, strikingly unobtrusive fragrance for everyday use or work. Fruity, floral, woody. No more, and no less.
The fragrances from s.Oliver are definitely worth a try! And they often fly under the radar, which somehow has a bit of a niche feel to it, right? :)
