The Insurrection
Insurrection wild was once again one of my blind buys for a small price.
Hooked by the quite positive reviews and the unisex suitability of the fragrance, it quickly landed in my shopping cart and thus in my collection.
It’s always an exciting moment when blind buys arrive, so I eagerly opened the rather large package.
I was quite amazed by the high-quality looking packaging, in the form of a brown, sturdy box, labeled with golden print.
It somehow looks like the demonic perfume bible...
By pulling on a tab, you now draw out the glass bottle, which lies there like a small sanctuary, and if you’re suffering a bit from sleep deprivation, like I am at the moment, you hear demonic hissing and see bright beams of light.
I must say, even though the craftsmanship is certainly not the best, I am still really impressed by the attention to detail and the grand presentation.
Now, onto the scent.
At first impression, I detect a landing of honey that one tries to rid oneself of with a sharp men’s shower gel.
I’m annoyed for a second by the piercing shower gel vibe and am soon rewarded with a candied cherry, enveloped in dark chocolate. The shower gel stays subtly in the background but is still a permanent guest in the cherry chorus!
Yes... After all, it is also declared as a men’s fragrance :)
The scent becomes softer in the drydown, thanks to amber and delicate suede. The honey also finds its way back, and the cherry celebrates its successful insurrection, just like Che, with a Cuban and a peppermint candy...
From now on, the scent feels linear to me, and it suits it well. The sillage is present but not intrusive, and the scent lasts on my clothes for a solid 12 hours. So all in all, I am totally thrilled with the quality and overall impression of the fragrance for the ridiculous price. The world needs more insurrections!!!! :D

toller und hilfreicher Kommentar, Weiter so :) Mag den Duft auch selbst sehr gerne, heftige Silage :) Magst den Duft aber nicht bewerten?
