Muesli, milk and all sorts of things ?
So here comes the second commentary on the Rirana fragrance collection and my second favourite of the series. Because this fragrance seems to hide a bit shyly behind others of the brand and seems to be called "Gehimtipp". If you look on YouTube for videos about Rirana, other fragrances are usually in the foreground. Often the latest creation of Coconut Nana is shown or the other spicier scents like Black Wood, Honey Amber or Plum Rose. Probably no great powers of persuasion are attributed to this Wood Cereal. Therefore, the AHA effect has been all the greater with me. Because under the name hides a wonderful and unique mixture, which generally plays in a top league.
Because the word Cereal in the name hides more than one would expect and overwhelms me all along the line. From the notes, wheat and oats are mentioned here, which then turn out to be 90% oats in the fragrance. But not some boring oat fields, no gruel and no trivial oatmeal. No, it is rather a delicately sweetened oat muesli with some dried fruit in it. If one sprays the scent and enjoys it, one can imagine the muesli on the tongue. It is accompanied by soft sandalwood, which is combined with delicate spice. A certain smokiness I can't hear at the beginning, but after a few hours of wearing it, something comes out in the background. The development of the scent is linear and not too spectacular, because at the beginning this oat note with sandalwood is directly present, the sweetness of the dried fruit is gradually added.
Now, similar to Coconut Nanas, you want to ask yourself the question whether you really want to smell like a bowl of muesli. In this case you can answer with YES. Because the composition of all ingredients is finely processed and exceptionally well balanced. The sweetness is kept so fine by the dried fruits that it does not overload the fragrance and rather contributes to the great aroma. On the one hand, the oats are so soft and slightly floury that they do not drift into the woody ones. The creamy sandalwood then connects everything in the most beautiful way you can imagine.
One must then be honest with the scent that it is not a Sillage monster. Rather reserved, wait-and-see and considerate towards its wearer. One does not waft around in the fog, but is convinced of the fragrance as an individual. In between it sometimes has stronger and weaker phases, but stays on the skin for more than six hours. Because of the really very fragile looking construct I wouldn't trust the fragrance for a whole day. Then better spray it on again freshly.
Maybe I have finally found my woody-looking successor for my Oud Wood here. Because of the oats it has in any case a small unique selling point, which works wonderfully in its entire combination. Even if the sillage and durability are not the best, the fragrance convinces in its own way. Here I will definitely start a sharing, so that as many people as possible can test this unobtrusive insider tip and so that not only I am walking around on two legs as a muesli :-)
