A wooden kitchen cabinet full of dried fruit and spices.
This quickly became one of my favorite oud forward fragrances, up there with Montri and Halfeti. It`s like opening the drawers of a beautiful wooden kitchen cabinet and inhaling the aromas of all the contents, a bag of oats here, a bag of dried fruits there, and spices, spices, spices. This oud scent is also really approachable, not overly masculine, nor impossibly animalic. This is a feminine oud, one that belongs to the earth, to the kitchen, to the arms of a gorgeous cook who`s wondering what to bake to feed her family.

Aftershave and sweet oats
Opens with sweet and dried fruits with smoky woods and a hint of a boozy undertone. But there’s also a weird underlying soapiness, maybe even after shave like smell that made it so I couldn’t get into this. It lingers throughout almost the whole scent before drying down into a masc leaning sweet oats and sandalwood scent.

Muesli, Milk, and Everything Else?
So here comes the second comment on the fragrance collection of the brand Rirana and thus my second favorite of the series. This scent seems to shyly hide behind others from the brand and seems to emerge under the label "secret tip." When you look for videos about Rirana on YouTube, other fragrances are usually in the foreground. Often, the latest creation Coconut Nanas is showcased or the other spicier scents like Black Wood, Honey Amber, or Plum Rose. This Wood Cereal probably does not carry much persuasive power. Therefore, the AHA effect was all the greater for me. Because behind the name lies a wonderful and unique blend that generally plays in a top league.

The word Cereal in the name conceals more than one might expect and convinces me completely. The notes mention wheat and oats, which then turn out to be 90% oats in the scent. However, not any boring oat fields, no oatmeal, and no trivial oat flakes. No, it is more like a lightly sweetened oat muesli, with some dried fruits having fallen in. When you spray the scent and enjoy it, you can imagine the muesli on your tongue. Soft sandalwood accompanies it, combined with delicate spice. A certain smokiness is not noticeable at first, but comes out a bit in the background after a few hours of wear. The development of the scent is linear and not too spectacular, as at the beginning this oat note with sandalwood is directly present, and the sweetness of the dried fruits gradually joins in.

One might now, similar to Coconut Nanas, ask whether one really wants to smell like a bowl of muesli. In this case, one can definitely answer this with YES. Because the composition of all ingredients is finely crafted and extraordinarily well-balanced. The sweetness from the dried fruits is so delicately maintained that it does not overwhelm the scent but rather contributes to the wonderful aroma. The oats are, on one hand, so soft and slightly powdery that it does not drift into the woody. The creamy sandalwood then connects everything in the most beautiful way one can imagine.

One must be honest about the scent that it is not a sillage monster. Rather reserved, patient, and considerate towards its wearer. It does not waft around in a fog, but convinces as an individual. It has stronger and weaker phases in between, but remains on the skin for more than six hours. Due to the truly fragile-seeming construct, I would not want to trust the scent for a whole day. Better to spray fresh again.

Perhaps I have finally found my woody successor to my Oud Wood. The oats definitely give it a small unique selling point, which works wonderfully in its entire connection. Even if the sillage and longevity are not the best, the scent still convinces in its own way. I will definitely start a sharing here so that as many people as possible can test this unobtrusive secret tip and not just I walk around like muesli on two legs :-)

Yes. Come here. Beige to white is this oatmeal to wallpaper paste combo. Doesn't quite reach the relevance of a falling sack of (...)

What a great scent! Lightly spiced with a really smooth and slightly sweet oat note. Granola to spray on - simply delicious.
