All abord the Nostalgia Express

Visa was the second leather chypre by Germaine Cellier. It's very different to Bandit, and with a peachy floral it comes close to Femme de Rochas. But Visa has an orange flower dryness and a particular feel - which is very different to Femme.

An old cardboard suitcase filled with perfumed clothes and shoes, there's also lipstick and powder, and a balsamic sweetness to the baseline.
It recalls a time when people packed a bag and travelled by train. An era when everything wasn't plastic and still had a 'natural' smell to it.

The fragrance that awakens nostalgia

The scent evokes nostalgia for the times when I lived in Russia in my younger years Here is a wooden house with an orchard on the banks of the Volga. Early fall. The pears and apples are ripe and fall on the damp earth, where the ants are trying to bite off the best bits. The roses are so big and thick, aromatically sweet. Nature is already resting after the hot summer months. It's Saturday and grandma is preparing Russian banya, it smells like burnt wood, like brooms that grandma has already put in hot water to soak. The sun is going down, it is very quiet and still. All the smells mingle in the garden and slowly spread together, giving me a very warm, cozy feeling, like the visas...
