Kiss de Kiss
A fruity-flora syrup, paired with a bitter green chypre; it’s a vibrant contrast that’s neither too fairground nor too serious.
It’s good at first – where the party girl slowly gives ground to something more mature – but eventually it starts to fall apart. And if you could stop time at four hours, that would be fine. But instead of tailing out, the drydown leads in a different direction - to a sweet powdery amber that gets stuffy by the end.
It’s a typical 80’s tuberose – which is over busy and badly composed; and it goes to prove the maxim KISS : keep it simple stupid.
