Woody Coconut
This perfume is Drop Dead Beautiful!

The opening is so nice, round and well-blended.Very elegant and smooth. And it just gets better and better over time.
It doesn't take long before the coconut and patchouli stand out. They mingle extremely well and stay strong during both heart and drydown - at least to my nose. There's nothing tropical or beachy about this scent in spite of the coconut.
It's one of the most elegant perfumes I've ever laid my hands on. Very warm, smooth, seductive, above all classy. The longevity is amazing - after 8 hours I still got whiffs of it when I moved around.

I wore it to work today. No way I am ever going to waste this gem again for something like that!

complex classic
Complex, classic floral w/ warm notes that seem to be the honey, carnation, leather, & amber. Reminds me of First by Van Cleef & Arpels or maybe Patou 1000. Does not have that indolic note I often can't tolerate in these big loud symphonies of fragrance, thank goodness. Dries down to rich, honeyed flowers. Not my thing, but not bad. (092009)

Kiss de Kiss
A fruity-flora syrup, paired with a bitter green chypre; it’s a vibrant contrast that’s neither too fairground nor too serious.
It’s good at first – where the party girl slowly gives ground to something more mature – but eventually it starts to fall apart. And if you could stop time at four hours, that would be fine. But instead of tailing out, the drydown leads in a different direction - to a sweet powdery amber that gets stuffy by the end.
It’s a typical 80’s tuberose – which is over busy and badly composed; and it goes to prove the maxim KISS : keep it simple stupid.

A Delicate Chypre
Capucci is a chypre, but not a chypre that barges in. It is bright and silky, the sillage is delicate and close to the skin, but not to be underestimated. A reserved, fine, elegant, somewhat old-fashioned scent, nothing to stand out. I find it pleasantly powdery and very attractive. In any case, I want to constantly sniff my wrist when I wear it. It is ideal for the workday because it doesn’t disturb anyone, but rather strikes gentle and silky notes. Perhaps one should wear it when dealing with hot-headed individuals or difficult business partners :o) However, the bottle is quite unwieldy, making it difficult to spray one-handed. And on me, the longevity is unfortunately rather poor, which is why I rarely wear it, as I have to reapply after about three hours.

It is truly amazing..
... how many Chypres have crossed my path, or rather come under my nose, since I've been with parfumo. Since there is no comment here yet, I would like to pay tribute to this wonderful scent. Ah yes, I can't even remember where the sample is from, but I want to thank the donor.
Capucci is a fine old Chypre and yet not outdated. Reading the pyramid might make unsuspecting members faint and think: 1980s? Poison? The 1980s fragrance killing machine? People have fallen into comas because of 1980s perfumes! Well, it wasn't that bad!
Capucci is noble! For all those who are on the hunt for Le Dix and can only find it for outrageous prices, this is a real alternative!
The difference is: While Le Dix wraps itself in a green creamy note, Capucci throws a velvety apricot cloak over itself.
Capucci has everything that makes a wonderful and slightly animalistic Chypre, and yet it doesn't:
* It completely lacks any scratchiness at the start. Just a hint of "old cabin," lemons, and spices.
* Wonderfully woven flowers in the middle. None are loud. No choking tuberose sends its entangling grip.
* In the end, I can hardly smell the leather and only a bit of civet, if I imagine it. It's Grandma's Chaiselogne, covered in heavy velvet and suede, and a bit waxed for winter. It was only ever used on special days; otherwise, no one was allowed to sit on it.
A fine and nostalgic little treasure. Honor where honor is due!

I know and I own the reformulated perfume: sweet, with a slightly medicinal note. Average sillage.
Not bad for the mid-cold season.Cheap

Classic chypre with aldehyde notes and florals. If it says Eighties, it's Eighties inside. Well made, but not for me.

A spicy old-school chypre, but of the gentle kind. It's soft, spicy, floral, and aldehydic.
For lovers of delicate chypre scents.

€15.95 at Dambiro. Powdery, fluffy, creamy, and delicate. Reminds me of anise-vanilla pastries - delicious! Ethereal and unique - in a good way.

Chypre for beginners. Nothing special, but sometimes that's just right. A spicy little bouquet (heehee... does that even exist?)

Friendly, silky colorful floral chypre. Subtle, slightly powdery, and charmingly old-fashioned.

If this is Chypre (I don't know any Chypre scents), I'm not a Chypre person. 90s aftershave vibe, old-fashioned, herbal-floral-green.

Well-balanced chypre for the stylish adult woman. I really like it on her.

In my opinion, it smells exactly like Montana EDT.
Both spicy with ginger...and leather.
Not my kind of perfumes at all.
