Versatile banger
First of all, this has nothing to do with bleu de Chanel. I mean it's quite different. Yes, we can say that they are following same path, being fresh, citrusy and slightly woody. Bleu de Chanel has way more depth, way better quality and way better & different smell. Also, we must check the prices, cuz this one is VERY cheap whereas BDC is a lot more expensive. I needed to get this "similarity" thing out of the way.
Now, back to our scent. I got the whole trio, Anima Nera, Homme Suave and Blu Water for ridiculous prices, Blu Water being on the 3rd place among them.
When it comes to the smell, enjoyable, fresh, citrusy and it smells a little bit (or even more for other noses) synthetic and cheap. A lot cheaper than BDC.
Even so, after a while, the scent becomes pretty enjoyable, nice and fresh, with some old style vibes.
It smells a little bit outdated, tbh. I see it as a great gift for a father/uncle/grandpa. Another great deal as a gift for your elders. Pretty linear, it keeps the same way, fresh and clean(ish) till the end of the wearing. Nothing groundbreaking, not that bad, not that good. You should at least try it.
Performance ? Wore it quite enough so here I come with my conclusion. It's not bad for the price.
6+ hours maybe even more with a pretty good sillage & projection in the 1st hour. It continues to project quite well after that. I mean for the price nothing to complain about.
Versatility ? Spring, Summer and few days of Fall as well. This one got you covered especially in the warmer seasons. Office, dates, daily, casual, formal, day & night. Pretty nice wear(ability) I can say.
Tbh, after trying Anima Nera and Homme Suave I expected more from Blu Water but reminding myself and you for the 10th time, taking in consideration the price, no right to complain.
I used it a lot recently spraying my bedroom curtains with it especially when I open the windows in the morning. It leaves a very nice smell in the room almost the whole day.
If you spot a good offer on the trio just like me you should try 'em !
