A Capucci Classic
Every now and then I find myself daydreaming about the long ago days of yore. I admit I live in the past and I'm man enough to admit it. It gets so bad some days it leads to depression!! One of my favorite things concerning the past is the magnificent body of Fragrances that were created during the golden age of perfumerie which IMHO lasted from 1960-2000. One of these gems is Sang Royale from Roberto Capucci. This could be one of the 1st Animalic fougeres pointed in the Masculine direction. To me this could've paved the way for such head turners as Antaeus by Chanel, Polo by Lauren, and Jaipur by Bucheron. There are many others similar because this genre was EVERYWHERE during the 1970s and 1980s. Umm Sang Royale was released in 1967 sooooo who knows if this paved the way. I'm not sure because my knowledge of Fragrances only goes so far. This, of course, is discontinued so hi ho hi how it's on the line I go!! This stuff is still around for a not so cheap price so really if you're a serious collector and you're into big, dark, Animalic green fragrances then you should definitely give this a serious look.
