Oceania Roja Parfums 2019

When I sprayed myself with Oceania today, I realized early on that this is a great fragrance for the summer. Well, the longevity could be much better in this price segment at around 8 hours and the sillage lags a little behind...But still, it's really nice.

The top note is a little earthy and herbal for a short time and is briefly annoying. But then it smells wonderful and fresh as well as subtly aquatic with citrus fruits such as grapefruit, lemons, bergamot but also lemongrass and orange grape sugar. The heart note remains citrusy, but is also accompanied by floral aromas such as jasmine blossom, geranium, iris, violet and ylang-ylang. A creaminess also resonates here. I have a little difficulty with the base notes listed in the fragrance pyramid. There is a subtle sweet note of ambergris and bourbon vanilla. And yes, there is still some sandalwood. But I can't smell all the rest.

Be that as it may, the Oceania is a real success, but a little too expensive for me. Many thanks to Nick for the bottling.
