Nùr Eau Fine soOud 2010 Eau de Parfum

Many thanks to Rosa for the bottling of Nùr Eau Fine Eau de Parfum :-) Unfortunately, my enthusiasm is very limited. The fragrance DNA just doesn't suit my taste at all. On a positive note, I can mention the longevity of around 10 to 12 hours and the good sillage (if you like the smell).

The top note is relatively short-lived and initially offers apricots and lemons. Here, fruit sweetness and citric acidity alternate. The heart note is pretty awful for me. Mugwort, camomile and orris root create a combination that makes me want to wash the fragrance off. It smells of menthol, herbs, earthy, rooty, floral, delicately smoky and subtly woody. The base smells leathery, smoky, somewhat oriental, resinous like cedar and earthy like tree moss. I can barely detect the vanilla here.

Curiously enough, my mom really liked this fragrance. So she gets to use up the rest of my bottle. For me, however, this tends to be more of a unisex perfume for the cold season.
