A beautiful oriental fragrance
I really had a lot of beautiful fragrances on my skin today and Ô Hira was one of them. Even if today's summer weather wasn't quite so suitable, I really liked Ô Hira. The longevity is great at around 12 hours and the sillage is also convincing.
The top note starts off sweet and reminds me of prunes. Then it smells quite dark, smoky and balsamic like styrax and bourbon vanilla. Leathery notes with creamy tonka bean creep into the heart note. The base remains sweetly vanilla-like with a beautiful woody quality, but there is also a hint of resin. Amber also makes its presence felt here.
I really like Ô Hira, even if I'm not completely thrilled. But it does make you think of the Orient. Many thanks to Nick for the bottling.

Quite solid
I was hoping for more with the "Bali | Pure Island", at least in terms of performance, as the bottles are not cheapies. It only lasts around 5 to 6 hours on my skin and the sillage could be stronger. At least the fragrance is quite successful so far.
