bitter, then softened caramel apple
- incredibly crispy apple with a hint of caramel. on me, too bitter of an apple to be a true gourmand, the caramel and musk more so round out the sharpness with a bit of sweet, so faithful to the dessert itself. grows softer as it develops, leaning more into the soft musk, and making the bite a little more fresh and less bitter. after about an hour, becomes much sweeter and less bitter, still without being overly gourmand or sweet. delightful for the bitter in winter chill, and then the sweet once warmed again.
