Combo Patchouli / Vetiver high quality

This is my first TRNP. A beautiful chypre fragrance that opens with a bergamot and a floreal part very realistic,with a balsamic effect. The drydown is beautiful, an hearthy patchouli slightly moist and a vetiver that is worked masterfully here. I was surprised, despite being composed of natural ingredients, both the projection and the duration. Quietly works for 6/8 hours on skin. Very satisfied

OLD-WORLD ELEGANCE

It opens with sparkling citrus, dancing alongside the soft, soapy orange blossom and geranium. Beneath the brightness, a darker and more mysterious heart emerges: labdanum, moss, and patchouli. Earthy and resinous, with patchouli adding that grounding depth...

It feels timeless. Like classic green chypres and gentleman’s colognes. The top notes sparkle, the base anchors, and the whole composition hums with cohesion and quality. Smells like an older gentleman’s cologne/aftershave — if you’re into that sort of thing (I sometimes am… don’t judge). Proper, but with a hint of melancholy and world-weariness, like a distinguished man who’s seen some things...

Sophisticated, classic, polished, and just a little jaded. This is a modern take on the green chypre with soapy facets.

When I tried this on mouillette, it didn't give the wow effect I was hoping for. tried again on the skin, made me realize how important it is to do this. WONDERFUL. It opens with very subdued citrus notes (nothing pungent) and I can say that I didn't feel this on paper. it evolves with a beautiful floral part accompanied by patchouli and vetiver (this is wonderful). I hope you are lucky enough to try this and get it on your own skin :)

A memorable experience

There are fragrances that impress with their precision, and then there are those that astonish with their uniqueness. This one undoubtedly belongs to the latter.

The opening is luminous, with bergamot and geranium preparing the stage for an orange blossom that is creamy, intense, and unlike any I have ever encountered. It feels as if it has a velvety texture, almost tangible. Then comes the patchouli, not just any patchouli, but one aged for thirty years, carrying depth and warmth like ancient roots buried deep in the earth. At the base, the fragrance settles into earthy and herbal notes that create an extraordinary chypre, timelessly elegant.

This is a perfume that does more than adorn, it tells a story, lingering in memory like an unforgettable encounter.

François and How He Saw the Earth

François' awakening was sometimes darkness and silence, which was undoubtedly due to his physiognomy, for he was a being that carried his head low. Thus, he always awoke in his own worlds, in soft warm misty soils that slowly revealed their aromas, initially as a hint, still dull and restrained, a delicate sound-dampened shimmer of earthy, peaty liqueur.
Only when François began to move, swinging his head back and forth in the ground, did the scent of his earth awaken, with traces of liqueur from chocolate, from herbaceous warm coumarin, from tonka veils in dark green and flowers dipping into balsam. Sometimes he swayed a bit more, his gaze penetrating the bright upper world, catching Hesperides rays, entwined with threads of cool geraniums, seeing his hands plow through mossy land, green soap bubbles flying, orange blossoms dancing to the sitar, drawing him down into the earth, into the foggy world between the roots. There, François paused and listened to the wave in distant darkness and silence.

The Australian manufactory "Teone Reinthal Natural Perfume" works exclusively with natural raw materials in small batches of 3 to 5 liters, which can thus vary depending on seasonal conditions. However, these variations are not only accepted but are also highlighted and emphasized.
"François" is for me a dark, slowly changing earthy-warm aura, primarily determined by liqueur-like, slightly chocolatey patchouli and a labdanum that carries sweet-spicy, green-coumarin-like, floral, and light tonka aromas. Hidden within it shimmers a classic chypre accord, cool and bitter the citrus and geranium notes, rather warm and soapy the moss, which increasingly blends into the base tone of patchouli and labdanum, making it appear softer, greener, and more classic. The orange blossoms (slightly hippie-like) also merely expand the dark light spectrum with vetiver (smoky-rooty) by adding further nuances.
François takes some time to unfold, then remains subtly present for several hours before pleasantly retreating into the subconscious.
