Fresh. Elegant. Clean. Suitable for work and leisure. The best green tea scent there is, in my opinion. Unfortunately, the perfume seems to no longer be produced. Very unfortunate, this could become a classic. However, given the low longevity (about 3 hours on the skin), the price could be lower. I assume the low longevity is the reason why customers turn to other, inferior, but more well-known (E.A) fragrances, which unfortunately have a significantly better longevity.

So sings Bodo Wartke. And I also took a long time to dare to write a comment - to describe fragrance notes, to write a helpful comment and not something that no one can relate to anyway. Phew, can I do that?

Never mind! I'm daring now!

Because this beautiful summer - squeaky green - actually more unisex than purely feminine - scent really doesn't deserve to go uncommented.

Unfortunately, it falls into the category of longevity and sillage, but since it has a price of 20€/100ml, you can happily spray it on more frequently and generously. The sillage is very close to the skin, so if you don't spray multiple times (I tend to spray all my perfumes 1-3 times), people nearby (even in hugging distance) might not even notice that you're wearing perfume at all. In summer, with airy clothing, the sillage will definitely improve a bit. The longevity for me is about 4 hours, which is fine, but a small travel atomizer is still worth it.

And now, yes the important part, how does it smell?
Fuji Green Tea starts off bright green and citrusy, almost as if you were biting into an unripe lime. For a moment, your salivary glands tighten. But only for the first few seconds, then a grassy note comes in addition to the citrusy opening - the green tea starts to take effect.
The grassiness of the tea soon fades, just like the sharp note of the lemon. What remains for a while is a green tea with lemon and jasmine, slightly aquatic. The aquatic and slightly floral touch also ensures that you don't feel like you've just sprayed Eau de Teapot on yourself. Over time, it becomes even more floral and a bit less squeaky-citrusy, but the green tea remains present throughout the scent's progression and provides the freshness that a hot summer day needs. The scent progression itself has no noticeable edges for me, but in the height of summer, I can't really handle unexpected scent twists anyway, or else I'll feel nauseous from the heat and shock. Nevertheless, it is not uninteresting, apart from the currently popular gourmand trend that partially carries over into summer fragrances.

I find it quite wearable for men as well, and would have categorized it more in the unisex category than purely for women. Of course, the flowers give it a certain femininity, but not so much that it would be unwearable for men. It is pleasing anyway, and in my opinion, it has no age restrictions in either direction.

Something that might be amusing and interesting to mention is the way I personally use this Eau de Cologne outside of summer. Just like our grandmothers, mothers, and aunts used 4711 Echt Kölnisch Wasser as a kind of remedy for headaches and ailments. That's how Fuji Green Tea works for me; applied in small doses, it wakes me up, alleviates headaches, and so on.

Bodo Wartke's song takes no turn; he doesn't dare - no matter the life situation. It's a shame for him, because as Teddy Roosevelt once said: "It is better to dare great things and win glorious triumphs, even though you have to endure some defeats along the way, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat." I have now simply dared to do it, and it feels good - almost as good as one or two sprays of Fuji Green Tea.
