We currently have 212 reviews and Vanilla Sex is rated 6.8 in the community. Yesterday, when I sprayed it on my test strip, I could absolutely have signed that. It was dry, woody with a hint of real vanilla bean and just boring. I was once again disappointed by Tom Ford. But I (luckily) took the test strip home with me, otherwise I really would have missed out.
Because over the course of the evening, mind you, 7 hours later(!) it developed into a very fine, soft, sweet, non-intrusive flattering vanilla. The fragrance progression is very interesting and Vanilla Sex developed into a really nice cuddly scent. So, be sure to wait and see when testing it, because the "ugly duckling" turns into a really beautiful swan in the end.
