...and yet another light green one
Yes, that's trendy.
It's fresh.
It appears light green, but not minty.
It's fleeting.
It's citrus-floral.
From all the beautiful ingredients, I mainly perceive the citrus fruits and a light musk variant in the base.
At Douglas, instead of small spray testers, nicely packaged refreshing wipes are provided as testers.

You can have it, but you don't have to.

Melon! Cucumber!
When I discovered the fragrance called "Mint" at D. last summer, I was immediately curious about what it could be!
Packaged in mint colors and named after mint, this should be something for me, as I love everything minty and steal the mint from my friends' glasses while drinking Hugo.

The first impression (for about 5 seconds after spraying): what is this? It smells somewhat like a rub and a doctor's office.
I don't want it, I won't buy it, silly! And: where is the mint????
After about 6 seconds (or 10), however, I smelled a very nice development; it became fresh, summery, and above all, in my perception, very melon-like and also a hint of cucumber (fresh, not Spreewald in a jar, of course).
When I left the store D, I had bought a small package with Mint Minis - fragrance spray, lotion, and shower gel.
And since then, I've been getting products from the line again and again.
For me, it's a beautiful summer fragrance, especially the lotion brings joy, as it holds the rather light and fleeting scent the best, in my opinion.
The EdT is more of a body spa, not a "perfume" in the usual sense, as it is extremely short-lived.
All in all, a very successful and refreshing summer scent.
You can wonderfully mist yourself after the shower and feel as fresh as mint ice cream on a hot summer day.
However: the fragrance does not smell like mint to me at all.

Where is the mint and where has Mint gone?
Recently, I managed to get one of Don's sample packs, and the first fragrance I tested is "Mint" by Toni Gard. I had never heard of this scent before, and even though summer is long gone, the fragrance pyramid made me very curious. I expected a fresh, cool, and fruity summer scent.

Upon spraying, I was literally overwhelmed - by lemons. I could really only smell lemon! After a short time, something cool mixed in, which I suspect is the iced mint. Unfortunately, I can't really identify it. I don’t like overly minty scents, whether it's shower gel or perfume. I was hoping for just a little hint of peppermint, but unfortunately, that was unsuccessful.

The fragrance becomes a bit sweeter, more floral, and fruitier. I can smell the passion fruit and find this note very interesting, as I must admit I love the scent of exotic fruits. But it also fades away quite quickly, leaving behind a hint of sweetness and an even lighter trace of musk and amber.

The sillage is practically non-existent, which isn’t necessarily a negative thing on a hot summer day. The scent is fresh and fruity, which fits perfectly with midsummer. However, the longevity is a disaster! After just 15 minutes, I can only smell the fragrance if I sniff directly at my skin. After half an hour, it’s barely detectable. After an hour, it’s gone. For me, this has nothing to do with an Eau de Parfum; at best, it's a body spray! And 30 ml of body spray for €35 is absolutely out of the question for me.

What a shame, with better longevity and a bit more sillage, this fragrance could have truly been a summer favorite. As it stands, it’s a personal summer flop for me.

Iced Tea with Fruit and Mint Leaves
I have made it a point to write the following comments on fragrances that haven't been discussed much yet. Here, there are at least three comments, but I will go ahead and do this anyway.

To start with: the original Toni Gard and the Mint have nothing in common except for the bottle shape. Two completely independent fragrances.
I actually like both of them quite a bit.

Mint reminds me of an iced tea with fruits and a - admittedly very tiny - mint leaf. Not mate tea, though, but green tea (slightly bitter, as if it had steeped a bit too long).
The green color is quite well captured, although I would have given it a slight yellowish tint.
That comes from the lemon at the beginning. Once that has faded, a nice, even blend of tea, fruits, a few flowers, and a mint leaf as decoration remains.
The sweetness comes from the passion fruit, without being overwhelming, lily of the valley makes it fluffy without standing out (I usually have some issues with lily of the valley), and the mint only gives a hint of freshness (which is good, as I really don't like the mint in mojitos, for example).

The scent remains fruity until the end, with a touch of musk and that summer amber found in many lighter fragrances.
The longevity is really not impressive, but neither is the original Toni Gard's, at least not for me.

But overall, it's a light, summery refreshment for daily wear and in-between - just like an iced tea with lemon and fruit juice.

Nice Little Lemon
"Mint Woman" by Toni Gard was a birthday gift from my dear godmother, along with body lotion, shower gel, and refreshing wipes.
All in all, a refreshing, summery fragrance set - great also in combination with the wipes.

About the scent: Pleasantly citrusy-refreshing and as light as a mint leaf on a mojito.
When sprayed, it is still slightly sweet; however, this note dissipates quickly, leaving behind a green summer scent - Mint Woman may not have much depth, but I don't expect that from any fragrance I wear when it's over 25 degrees in summer to lift my exhausted spirits.
The longevity is also in the "green" range at 4-5 hours - but with summer fragrances, I don't mind reapplying a bit more frequently.
In combination with the shower gel and body lotion, it definitely lasts longer, and the cream has a truly unique consistency.
It absorbs very quickly, making it great to use in the morning as a scent booster.

I also find the spray nozzle very practical - it produces a fine, wide mist; this way, not everything lands in one spot, and you can better control the fragrance intensity.
After "Aura" by Swarovski and "Laura" by Laura Biagiotti, "Mint Woman" is the third fragrance my godmother has given me, and she has completely hit my taste.

Here's to refreshing summer hours with Mint Woman!

Pure relaxation. Subtle, fresh, cool scent - lasts about 9 hours for me. No annoying notes, wellness for the soul ;-)

Mint does what Miami Glow and Bombshell failed to do. The passion fruit smells neither fermented nor soapy on my skin. I like it.

Tried it today at DM: Reminds me a lot of a casual scent for men. Fresh, cool, aquatic. Not feminine at all.

A shy mint leaf dives headfirst into a pool of shower gel. Unfortunately, it sinks. Overall, quite refreshing.
