I rented a...
... motorhome and drove to the Atlantic in Brittany. At the campsite, I got a spot in the front row. Here, the spots are oriented towards the sea. After I set up my tent, I poured myself a lemon tea into a cup and went straight to the beach, sitting on a tree trunk to enjoy the view of the sea.

When applying this fragrance, the first thing you notice is a citrus accord with a certain sharpness from pepper. Underneath, there’s a salty aquatic freshness, even though this isn’t listed in the fragrance pyramid. It then turns green and takes on a tea twist that mixes with a certain clean vibe and woods.

The longevity and sillage are average.

Here we have an aquatic men’s fragrance that I see as suitable from around 18 years and open to older ages. It might also appeal to some ladies. It works best on warm and hot days. It's wearable during the day at the office, during lunch, while shopping, and also in a café. In the evening at a bar, pub, or even at a garden party, it performs well.

Those who enjoy a citrusy, peppery, salty, aquatic, green, clean tea scent with woody accents will find this fragrance to be a good fit.

Fresh Sea Breeze on Vacation
Toni Gard Seaside Man is a great summer and vacation scent. This is how I imagine a fresh, blue aquatic fragrance. Maritime notes, sandalwood, citrus notes. Synthetic yes, but not piercing. Subtle green nuances, a hint of pepper. One immediately associates the salty sea breeze on the skin at the beach in the opening. Delightfully fresh. Unfortunately, the scent has no development on the skin and fades away, typical for an aquatic, very quickly. You enjoy the scent for 2 to 3 hours. After that, it is gone.

The scent itself is super fresh. Suitable for summer, really warm days, and sporty activities. Too weak for going out or the office, unless you absolutely want to avoid standing out or making an impression. My tip: put it in the fridge and refresh your skin in the summer! Longevity and sillage, as mentioned above, are unfortunately not good at all. But for the price, it’s okay, and you can spray it on more often without being stingy.

Magic of the Sea
A breeze of sea wind paired with a hint of lemon is what makes this fragrance truly special! It radiates the freshness and wildness of the sea, even in very high waves that can sweep you away! The magic of the sea flashes in this scent for a brief moment and captivates one or another. However, the waves flatten out after a while, the sea recedes, and it is low tide!
For me, this fragrance is a fresh spring and summer scent that awakens the great fascination of the sea within me. I then dream myself to the North Sea, preferably to Westerland! ;) However, this longing only lasts for a certain time, as the longevity of this appealing fragrance could last a bit longer! The sillage is very strong at first, but it gradually diminishes over time.
Overall, a fragrance that can certainly convince! Its longevity and sillage are satisfactory overall, but one can expect more! I wear this scent mainly in spring and summer when the longing for the sea takes hold of me and I want to be enchanted by the freshness of spring or summer!
A beautiful fragrance that briefly lets the magic of the sea bloom. But just like the time of spring and summer, the effect of this lovely scent is unfortunately far too short! What a pity :(

Juicy-Fruit with Menthol
The first comment on this fragrance shouldn't be a complete dismissal, right? No, not really. But I’m not really warming up to the newcomer from Toni Gard either.

It is definitely synthetic. A blend that smells like a "Tropical Melon" mix, with pineapple, melon, mandarin, and a lot of what the aforementioned chewing gums smell like. All overshadowed by the cool, almost icy lavender - you could almost say, a strong menthol note. Fortunately, the chewing gum component is only noticeable in the top note; afterwards, it remains at a somewhat banal, cool freshness - unfortunately, the synthetic aspect is quite pronounced. This could have really been something, because especially the lavender/menthol freshness is quite nice. I find the name "Sea Side" very inappropriate. Neither does this fragrance have a maritime touch, nor do beach and sea smell like chewing gum. But be that as it may, it seems to be intended for marketing purposes to make everyone aware that it is a cool, fresh scent. I only perceive sandalwood and tea in traces; is it just me? The menthol just barely lifts it above the average, so a bit more than ordinary. More distinctive interpretations of current summer fragrances are, for example, L'Homme Ideal Cologne by Guerlain or Diors Eau Sauvage Cologne. As an icy representative, there's also L'Eau Froide by Serge Lutens from 2012.

All in all, it's not a fragrance you must have, but you really can't go wrong with it either.
Let’s see when the hot summer days finally bloom for us; I’m already looking forward to it - there are so many summer fragrances on the shelf that want to be worn!

Nice marine opening turns into the cheapest aroma-chemical wood after 5 minutes. Unfortunately, it lasts long and projects.

Well-scented, citrus-marine nail polish remover. Hyper synthetic. Perfumed polish or felt-tip pen.

Because of Sauvage, I'm not a big fan of Ambroxan, but this Aquat really integrates it well into an aquatic image.

The name says it all. Fresh, synthetic, and perfect for hot beach days. Overall pleasant, but definitely not a must-have.
