About my first love
I don't want to say anything bad about it. (And I can't)
Once, in the early 2000s (the 2010s version must be a reissue, as the scent was unavailable for many years), I bought my first "perfume" (here EdT). Although I knew Fahrenheit and the like, I had never spent money on perfumes, always relying on gifts instead.
So why did I spend money on Toni?
Because it was not just oceanic-fresh for me, but it also conveyed a meditative, cozy warmth through its patchouli notes, which still warms me regularly today.
Just like the scent, I wanted to be - fresh, smart, and profound.
I lack a bit of the craft for an adequate analysis of top, heart, and base notes, but as far as longevity is concerned, two hearty sprays in the morning are enough for me, and I can smell good until bedtime.
Sillage? Not overwhelming, but at least noticeable in the first two hours without being irritating; after that, it becomes more private, and that's how I want it to be.
Bottle? Well, at least it has grooves.
Well, I wanted to get this off my chest because the scent seems to be getting a bit of a bad rap here and, as it seems to me, needs a little push.
Thank you for everything, Toni. Love!
