Vanilla scent, like Grandma's warm milk with honey from back in the day
When I was sick, when I felt bad, when I was cold.....my grandma would always make me warm milk with honey. This warm milk with honey tastes primarily sweet, intensely sweet, almost extreme, but it only has a subtle scent of creamy milky sweetness. When I spray Exotic Vanilla, I experience that feeling all over again. Taste and smell are two senses that are connected; without smell, there is no taste, and when I smell Exotic Vanilla on my skin, it becomes the overall experience of the comforting, warming honey milk from my grandma. Cozy security in my memory.
As a total perfume freak, I usually use Vanilla for layering. And I can almost hear the outcry here, but today I am wearing Vanilla layered with Rosabotanica. The warm vanilla blends into the base note of the fragrance, transforming a fresh, very prominent perfume that lasts forever into a warm, softer honey scent; I can continuously smell the rose now, but embedded in the warm honey milk. I really like this experiment. I am now almost addicted to trying out new creations. The rose is the flower symbolizing love, and the honey milk is the childlike form of symbolized love. Perhaps I had to unite both. Not only is there a child in every man, but also in me.
