It could have been so beautiful…….

I had a limited edition shower gel with lavender oil in the summer. I loved that scent. Hoping to find something similar, I ordered Lavender. And yes, it really does smell similar when sprayed, fresh slightly herbal lavender, becoming sweet after 10-15 minutes; I can't specifically detect honey, but the hay comes through clearly. It would be so beautiful if it didn't disappear after fully unfolding. Longevity on the skin, max 1 hour. On the shirt about 2 hours, but you really have to sniff the shirt. Such a shame, it's so incredibly beautiful. Towards the end, it briefly reminded me of Hiris by Hermes.

Pleasant Refreshment

I purchased lavender at Pieper as reduced merchandise.
I am not a dedicated lavender fan, but occasionally a spritz on the bed before going to sleep is fine. Sometimes also after exercising.

Well, it smells like lavender, what a surprise :-)
However, it is noticeably milder than, for example, Yardley's lavender. The lavender note fades quite quickly and a slightly sweet honey note can be detected, and it indeed also smells a bit like warm straw.
But there isn't much more to discern.

Overall, very unremarkable but very well-rounded for my purposes, absolutely fine.

The scent development is very short, and the longevity and projection are somewhat weak for an EdT, but still acceptable given the fragrance notes.
The bottle is simple and round (cylindrical) and feels good in the hand.

The price-performance ratio is okay.
