Princess perfume
I bought this perfume almost exclusively for the bottle. At first, I wanted the original Boudoir, but after a test I knew it was something I’d never wear. I’ve read that the flankers all smell nothing like the original, so I opted for the prettiest bottle: enter Mon Boudoir!
Everything about the way this smells is very pretty and prim, like a perfectly manicured lawn under a cloudless sky. There’s an old-fashioned charm; this fragrance is a good girl in white gloves. It’s a white floral that does not scream “white floral,” it sings it through a veil of green pears. As a fragrance, I merely like it, but as an objet, I am captivated.
I do wear it, but it has its time and place. And when I do, I think I hear a harp playing in the background, and a little flock of birdies comes around to help me with my chores ;)
