OH THIS IS DELICOUS

unlike other reviews that could pass for a student research paper with their character amount, mine will be short. I decided to write a review only because my impressions won't fit into a statement.

Very delicious spicy, gooey, ambery, resinous opening. Then it transforms into calmer, more incensy, tobacco scent but tobacco doesn't dominate. Overall it's quite sweet but not overwhelming, not cloying. Very oriental, spicy, woody. Unisex. Delicious for colder weather.

Cardamom, amber & cedarwood here remind me of Starlight, while frankincense & labdanum wink towards Sirene. But this scent is not either of those, more like their cousin with similar vibes.

Mood booster, cozy, warm, and comforting. Confident but not screaming, cozy but not boring.
I must adit i like the opening more than the further progression because it's more pronounced, more smiley & flirty almost while the dd is calmer, but everyone's nose is different.

Is it a recommendation from me? Certainly. However, if your nose is out there with Rojas, strangeloves, Bortnikoffs, etc maybe this won't be for you. Not because it's bad - it's quite lovely, but because as your nose develops and asks for more challenging, punchy scents, this one doesn't do that. It's not challenging but quite beginner / crowd friendly.

My signature house...

Welton London have been my signature house for a few years now. Their fragrances are unique and suit my skin perfectly. Living in London their fragrances are quite easy to come by, but I enjoy the fact that they are not mainstream or hyped. They don't reformulate as far as I know and give the perfumer plenty of freedom to use their talents to create great quality fragrances. The perfumer in this instance is Julie Pluchet, who created another one of my favourites; Jump Up and Kiss Me Hedonistic for Clive Christian.

Lucky Charm is my go to winter fragrance for going out in the evening. I have also worn it during the day and at work but to be honest is not quite suited for that. It is part of the Talisman Luxury Collection which includes Narcotic Elixir and L'Amour Absolu, which are also in my collection.

This is a gentleman's fragrance, this is not unisex in my opinion. A gentleman who enjoys cuban cigars and a good malt whiskey. This would be lost on anyone younger than 35 to be honest. You really can smell the shisha tobacco and smokiness of the frankincense. I disagree that this is a fruity sweet gourmand fragrance. The sweetness is mild, it smells more like the wood of a humidor after many years of holding quality Cuban cigars. the amber makes the tobacco glow and very warming. Like all the fragrances in the Talisman Luxury Collection, Lucky Charm is an Extrait and has great longevity and lovely projection. The stopper is made from Bakelite, so if you know what Bakelite is, you are at the right age to enjoy this unique wonder lol.

Shisha bar with friends...

To all the people out there who love tobacco scents! This is something new. When you spray this fragrance on, you smell a dominant fruity shisha tobacco. A bit of cardamom, which holds back. Then after about 1 hour, it starts to become woodier and sweeter. Musk forms a nice base. After about 5 hours, the scent continues to dry down, but remains consistent with the shisha note in the foreground. At some point, the woods really come through and the next day I can still smell the beautiful rounded fragrance composition. H/S really knocks you off your feet. You get something for your money here! Especially since no one knows this scent. It's just a shame that now everyone might think you've started vaping shisha. Still. Pure winter fragrance. Super nice for feeling cozy at home on the couch as well as outside in the snow. Full recommendation!!!!
