The fragrance

I've already tested a few fragrances and often I only really fall in love with them after smelling them 3, 4 or 5 times. I actually know my way around the Xerjoff range relatively well and feel "at home" there.

Well, there is a fragrance called Amber Star, which is only available in combination with Star Musk. The price of the set is a bit daunting and you rarely find anything in the souk. A dear colleague gave me a sample of the Star Musk. I didn't really like this one...

So now I read the fragrance notes of the Amber Star and think to myself: Come on, I've already tested the Star Musk, now I should at least test the more popular Amber Star.
I bought a sample from the manufacturer here.

I sprayed Amber Star directly onto my skin for the first time...it blew me away. I'm normally a rather introverted person who doesn't usually show my emotions to the outside world. This fragrance really made me laugh. I knew it was the fragrance I had been looking for sooo long.

Well, what does it smell like?

I think it has a wonderful sweet vanilla/amber note. It also has a great light woody note. For me, the fragrance is almost a gourmand scent. In the dd the sandalwood note mmn also comes out very well. Overall, a very round, soft fragrance that I wouldn't want to be without.

I think the Amber Star is also beautiful in combination with the Star Musk. They blend together beautifully. Perfect for me in a 2/3:1 ratio. More amber than musk.

If I could only wear one fragrance. Then it would be Amber Star.
