Masterfully fragrant?

Gladly, but please not too sweet for me! This restriction is always a challenge, especially with fragrances from XerJoff. And so it has always been an on/off relationship between us with Naxos since its market launch.

Initially, the lavender-bergamot combination gives a pleasantly fresh, balsamic-sweet to fruity and gently floral fragrance impression. This is very pleasing and, in my opinion, could last a long time.

Unfortunately, the game-defining jasmine sambac club is then unpacked and this dominates the rest of the fragrance with its intensely floral and sweet-honey notes. Silky, creamy nuances also make the perfume appear bright and clean throughout its development.

The fragrance spectacle is then underpinned by a well-known and dreaded trio of cinnamon, vanilla and tonka bean. For fans of gourmand fragrances, this is certainly a revelation - unfortunately, I'm out at this point.

Longevity and sillage are of course very good. The wearability is definitely given for many situations, as the fragrance always appears very pleasing and does not want to play too much in the foreground.

For a high price, you get an expressive niche fragrance with plenty of staying power and sufficient flattering attributes. The spray head, bottle and packaging are adapted to the price segment and are therefore very convincing.

At the end of the fragrance journey, this is again a decision of personal taste and preference.
