Summer dream in Italy

I'm not usually a fan of fresh fragrances because they often smell too synthetic and superficial to me. (of course there are a few exceptions)
Fortunately, Renaissance is such an exception (:
When I first smelled it, I was almost shocked at how a fragrance can smell so citrusy and still be natural.

The very intense top note is immediately noticeable. to be honest, "lime water" sums it up pretty well, but it goes so much deeper. The mandarin and hints of mint and rose make the top note the best I've smelled so far.
(fresh, tangy, sour, sweet and yet clean; rounded but highly recognizable)

I still find the drydown outstanding for a fresh fragrance (especially the transition from fresh to warm and somewhat woody), but unfortunately the space-consuming sillage that the top note had to offer fades and can now only be smelled directly on the skin. Here, everyone has to decide for themselves whether they like it or not.

I have to admit that I'm not really a fan of the almost "poetic" reviews on Parfumo. The Renaissance, however, has awakened real summer dreams, longings, associations and all the rest in me for a long time, but unfortunately I can't put them into suitable words (:
(the name really suits the fragrance here)

I'm already looking forward to wearing the fragrance on my next beach vacation ((:
