Signature Leather Tabac Zaharoff 2023

Testosteronic, strong leather-tobacco fragrance with a subtle smoky touch. Is super dry and definitely not one for the bubblegum boys. Super performance. Strong sillage and projection for a few hours. Longevity is over 12 hours. At the 12 hours mark I was still getting whiffs just sitting still. EDP concentration per the Zaharoff website.

Did not get a sweaty armpit BO scent from the cumin. Try Dodo 2020 or the opening of Overture Man for that. What it does have in the background supporting the leather-tobacco is a musky man scent similar to Tous 1920 or after the dry down of Overture Man. Combined with the dryness, makes it hyper masculine. Nice to see a company label a perfume like this "for men" instead of taking the lazy "unisex" approach on every fragrance.

I really liked this one and will be getting a FB. Will be perfect for Fall and Winter. Of course, not a hot weather scent. Very wearable. If you're mainly into sweet perfumes, forget it. If Overture Man or Cuoium give you an anxiety attack or if you have nightmares about Kouros or Guilty Absolute, you can definitely avoid Signature Leather Tabac.

Tobacco, leather, smoke with a slightly sweet background, but totally hard, incisive, a fragrance I would define as Clint Eastwood.
There, yes, that's him, with a cigar in his mouth and his eyes so deep.
So powerful that it comes out magnetic, extremely attractive and warm, elaborate.
A wonderful olfactory experience.

I will start with prefacing that scent is subjective, and influenced by your experience. This is my own opinion of Leather Tabac.

I blind bought this perfume based on online hype and comparison to Royal Tobacco, which I adore. I must say I am far from impressed by Leather Tabac, while I can see how it can be compared to RT as it has tobacco and smoke this scent falls off far from the mark. While RT's smokiness is part of the charm as its effect is naturally mellowed by the resin, bergamot and lavender, here the smoke presence is enhanced by the leather, the tar and the pepper. Initially, all you can feel is smoke. As the scent dries down Leather Tabac morphs into a photo realistic scent of an ashtray. I usually like harsh smells but to my nose this is a hard pass and I cant see no redeeming qualities - maybe someone should include it in their collection as an example of how an ashtray smells. On the positive side it lasts and projects.

Update: After some experimentation I layered it with Stronger with You Absolutely (which is a tad too sweet for me) and I can say that the pairing is actually good as SWYA oversweetness mellows out the harshness of the smoke in Leather Tabac.

As a Niche Novice I’ve made mistakes , blind buying being number 1, but this one in particular hurt me bad . Let’s start off by saying i truly appreciate zaharoff , but this one really really is underwhelming for me , maybe because I’m used to his fragrances having a bit of mass appealing something about them . This is OVERLY smoky for me way to resinous as well . The leather & tabac are both present leather being a tad animalic nothing to bad just really dark pungent leather actually would be my type if supported better . The tobacco is a dry one which gives you that Tobacco Vanille Kind of vibe also not bad … Overall i don’t enjoy challenging fragrances, this is just not for me not for the novice nose , I’m not a young pup so i know a youthful aged male would run far away from this , hell i think even the ladies are going to run away from you wearing this lol jk. Maybe a leather jacket well dressed lad could get attention with this because either way you’re going to command a room with this Beastly ass bomb … That’s my final take , this thing last ForDamnEver lol ..

this one screams Niche!! it is not for every one and should be worn strictly in it's season (winter Holidays and festive events!) the Leather is a Castoreum type (beaver casters) making it hard for crowd pleasing!! but if you are a Frag head looking for something unique for your own appreciation (not others) this is a very good unique sent! not the strongest I have smelled, but I do appreciate it.. It's challenging no question about that! but if you like uniqu fragrance's that are great for Festive events. this is a great fragrance for exactly that !
