Why buy expensive when you can get it cheap...?
This is actually my first review here, but I really have to say something about this fragrance. Arrived on Monday from Spain (unfortunately from a GLS drop-off point, because my last name supposedly cannot be found... Really?) and I am truly shocked.
I know some dupes of well-known perfumes and none, but really none, come 100% close to the original, because they are too sweet, too citrusy, or or or.... Muhit by Al Absar from the UAE is completely different and smells almost identical to Pacific Chill. I could hardly believe it myself, but it is true... And that for just about a tenth of the price of PC.... Props to the perfumer, because he invented this piece, but why spend €300 when I get the same DNA and even better performance than the original... The spray head strongly resembles Dior Sauvage.... Very fine and an extreme amount that shoots out from one spray...
Anyone who wants to smell like apricot and mint (I don't smell grapefruit) has to have this. Smooth, soft, and clean like the breeze of the Pacific.... Absolute must-have..... Someone really managed to create a 1:1 clone.... The only point that goes to LV is the prettier bottle and the magnetic cap, as the bottle of Muhit is very bulky and really heavy (otherwise still nicely presented and packaged) but who cares at the end of the day?
It's all about the content and that is almost identical. 10 out of 10.... And please don't get me wrong: I am absolutely not a fan of dupes, but why should I buy a fragrance that is 10 times more expensive just because it has LV on it, when a dupe smells 100% the same and performs even better? That would be economically foolish, unless you throw money around or are absolutely obsessed with a brand. I won't let anything come close to my LV Imagination, but for Afternoon Swim or Pacific Chill, it's more than questionable to spend €300.....
Judge for yourselves!
Patrick.
PS: Now you can tear me apart ;)
