Nephrite Elixir Amphora Exotica

I must say that this creation is one of those that most challenged me in trying to describe it, but I have tried to do my best

In the opening, citrus fruits are immediately present (lime, Tangerine, Yuzu) and sweetened by the note of honey, which will be less present in the heart phase, giving way to the absolute of osmanthus which goes more to emphasise its floral identity, rather than the fruity one, dirtied by civet and the vaguely powdery identity of iris butter.
Moving towards the dry down a sweet/resinous sensation, typical of labdanum, can be percieved and then veers towards a green (perhaps maritime pine), damp earthy (mushrooms) and somewhat animalic carpet.

Nephrite Elixir is a very complex scent, which I love. It seems to be a combination of 4 accords, each of which, or a combination of 2, would have been a perfectly good fragrance on its own. First there is a sweet honey-like fruity note/accord with depth, similar to the realistic blackcurrant used in Enchanted Forest. Next there is a light aromatic component with basil, green tea, and pine. There is a soapy fougere-like citrus and oakmoss accord, with musk rounding it out. Last but definitely not least, there is a powerful labdanum-centered resinous amber. Every time you catch a whiff of this scent, a different facet hits you. Sometimes it is a fruity citrusy freshie, and sometimes it is a dark resinous oakmossy amber. Hats off to Mr. Rayhan for some really amazing work to create something so complex and yet not off-putting or difficult.
